The reason I am asking is that I have found that most people have the same opinions as you and I am wondering what you guys see that I do not. It,s just outof curiosity
For me, I liked the first few books of Goodkind but then I started to realize that his hero and hero

There is a tendency to create several bodies for such things (UN, NATO, EU, etc), depending on relations between nations of the groups and the purpose of the groups. Sometimes allies will band under some common flag, while the enemies of an allience will often go off and form their own group(s). The

Perhaps this has been mentioned (I didn't read all the posts) but how about a Council mechanic where after a certain time or event the leaders of the various teams are elected to a ruling council that can pass laws (like prohibiting the use of planet destroying weapons...Novalith..etc). Or perhaps the council is 'just there' from the beginning and every now and then the different teams vote on a given issue. The vote changes the gameplay in minor or major ways. If you wanted you could go furt

After reading the LOTR for the 2nd or 3rd time I picked up Sword of Shannara and immediately recognized it's basically the same setup as LOTR. The world felt really small and the characters were taken

OK, perhaps I'm being a bit harsh here with Attila. I apologize for that. It's just that I've seen soooo many posts on here in the last 3 months on 'Impulse is bad', 'Impulse is DRM', 'Impulse is draconian', 'Impulse is crap' that I fail to see how these labels can be aimed at Stardock's distribution system. At EA yes, at Steam to some degree yes. But Impulse is so user-friendly it seems absolutely ridiculous that anyone would have a problem with it. If you want to use it to buy

Also i WANT a cd i want a real object in my hand that won't get screwed up that won't somehow "forgot" my purchase. And it is Intrusive i don't want to have a useless program that only serves to update my game and "keep them organzied" I mean seriously is it that hard to host patches here or keep you games organzied. What a baby! You don't want to keep a 20MB file on your computer that keeps your games updated, keeps them organized in one spot, is non-intrusive, allows you to install your game on ANY computer in the world without a CD, and allows you to play online multiplayer 'which is most of the fun' you get. Go cry somewhere else you big baby!

I'm in the same boat. I sometimes think my boss is trying to kill me? Does that make me happy? You'll know when you open the cover and see that your car is just like all the others. Hope this helps.

1.53.136 is the latest version for Dread Lords (the original vanilla game) If you had the Dark Avatar expansion the latest version of that is 2.01.107. And if you had the Twilight of the Arnor expansion the latest version of that is 2.02.030.

That's not how it works with Impulse, mavericka. The serial is tied to your account you've created on Impulse. So you could install the game on one computer, then have the computer stolen, buy another computer, login to Impulse and redownload the game with all updates available.

It's stupid, unfair, and annoying. I believe its b/c we as PC gamers hold the devs to a higher standard than console gamers. We expect it be flawless like 2 days ago. Since we are ever pushing feedback into the devs hands they tend to take longer than expected.<br
(PC's are the reason consoles exist)
I think you're forgetting about the Atari 2600. That console was immensely popular way before PC gaming was. Came out in 1976 or 1977, I forget exactly when. My own two cents are that PC's are far better: more customizable, better graphics, and just more potential to push them to the limits of gaming or whatever.
