Well, Turning if off completely solves one problem but kinda makes the game abit boring with nothing at all coming at you .... hmmmm .... guess it just needs some balancing in single player.?

Games seem to take quite long (even small maps) - Pirate Raids in Sins Rebellion Sins Forums

Hi All, Enjoying the game so far but it seems to me that pirate raids happen all too often. Im playing on normal and I make progress but it seems that pirate raids come every 5 minutes or so (maybe its 10 not sure), but anyway ... It seems to really slow down the game with no real reward in fun factor. My larger ships do level up etc but that's about all the benefit there is really. Maybe if they happened less often? Any thoughts? T.

Well. I woke up this morning. The title in steam in my library no longer says beta. BUT ... I was expecting that there was going to be a download (release patch) but nothing shows as downloaded O.o. Any Ideas? T. P.S. upon starting the game it still says "not for review" maybe steam just changed the title but even tho the web site syas its released stem hasn't made the release patch available?

You could also try just deleting the Game.Prefs file and then try loading the game. That should set the game back to the default video settings. Game.prefs file is found in Document\My Games\Gas Powered Games\Demigod This solution worked for me.
