You know if Jean-Claude Van Damme was a demigod, he could be like some kind of fighter like a kickboxer or something, and he would totally kick Oak in half. Or they could just release Chuck Norris as the next Demigod....he could fight on Light or Dark...so that would save time and money...
Having Chuck Norris as a Demigod is blasphemy, he'd kill all of the 8 current Demigods using round house kicks in

Still dont have mine in the UK from the first batch, even though that one person at least got his days ago.
I've had similar experiences against Unclean Beast (was with the player as Erebus as his partner), which is why I hate playing against it, especially as Rook. Just got told how easy it is to counter by unsympathetic people in Chat and how I should have used my own stun, even though I wouldn't have had the time or opportunity as I was in fact stun locked the entire time.
Hello! Not got mine yet in the UK. Any reason? Should it be here by now? I dread to think what possible things Royal Mail (the postal service in the UK) could have done to it if they are the courier and I expect they are. Once ordered computer components and the box turned up with a gaping whole in it the size of a hand where somebody had grabbed their hand through and pulled it out and this was a signed package so I would have thought it could be traced back easily. <p
I only seem to have connection problems with certain players and this has been the case with a number of different games. On the zero day patch version, I found constantly that when I was going into games it would connect me to all but one player and then fail to connection to them and they'd quite often appear in the next game I tried etc and cause problems for me all along causing the problem to look much worse than it actually was. Even on the zero day patch, I could get games, as long as

Don't do it. I smell a scam, that he'll charge back.
If you are suggesting that Stardock are 'breaking' the Gamers Bill of Rights by their actions in the release of Demigod, this has already been discussed before. Gamers shall have the right to return games that don't work with their computers for a full refund. I think if this is the case, such as it being unable to launch, that Stardock actually will refund you. I remember something along those line
I'm also interested in knowing which versions of the game come with the soundtrack. I'd prefer only having to buy a digital download instead of having to chase down a Collector's edition in the stores.
You don't have to. Impulse offer a digital download plus retail option, where you get both for $10 more plus postage/shipping costs. They'll send you the Collector's Edition in the post, but in turn receive the download version immedi
I think the sound track etc. was an incentive for buying the retail pre-order Collector's edition version and I don't think it was ever advertised otherwise, however if and when my retail copy turns up over here (may take a week or two I guess, not sure.) I might help you out finding a copy. [e digicons]:|[/e]
I don't think Stardock could have possibly taken this into account when they were planning for it, I can't imagine now that I've really thought about it, though anybody who heard me in the chat last night might have seen me be a little peeved off. The game is practically finished, except from these multiplayer flaws. Yesterday, with the current code, I was getting games, I tried to join about 3 games and got two in the process, on the Pantheon, so I don't think the code
Wolfman, this certainly isn't 'beta' testing. Stardock has already conducted months and months of beta from September of last year. Yes, there are problems, but they have said they will rectify them. Poor launch? Sure, but they didn't expect Gamestop to release early, it's not the kind of thing they could possibly plan for, they have said that they will try and get it working by next weekend. They have been working as hard as they can, i'm sure, I heard that Frogboy had been up a hell
If by Vampire Lord you mean Erebus, I don't think he's underpowered at all.. Was playing a game as Regulus and I kept almost getting the Queen of Thorns but Erebus kept hunting me down. ;x
The info was posted here http://forums.demigodthegame.com/332910 "The Collector's Edition will also have a MyColors theme for Demigod to make your XP/Vista/7 desktop feel like the game UI. It's very slick. I'm not sure what else is coming with the Collector's Edition yet so stay tuned." It was also advertised as a bonus of the CE across multiple sites, I hope it comes soon, I want some Demigod desktop goodness!
I've had a game already. :) I lost but it's good experience I guess. ;)

I can't remember being told that we would get a MyColors theme of DemiGod though that would be damn cool if we did. Frogboy or another Stardock member, were we supposed to be getting one? [e digicons]8(|[/e] [e digicons]:inlove:[/e]
Xtreme Music's are known for sound popping at the best of times. ;s I have one, so I should know, was bad especially with speakers. DOn't really notice it any more with head phones.
We should do as long as we bought the retail as well as the download version, I'll be pissed if we don't, that's what we were pretty much promised. ;) Apparently all orders of the retail from Stardock will get the collectors edition as long as 'stocks last' and as Stardock are a pretty far sighted company, I cant imagine they'd order too few copies to meet the pre-order demand (they'll probably be available for a while even for new buyers, I bet) Edit: Kry
Yeah, I downloaded at my peak download rate, only 300kbps, though for a release day speed, for me at least that's great. When Empire Total War came out, I had numerous hours where Steam was toiling away at 6kbps and half the time saying download was unavailable, though this wasn't apparent with Demigod, so it appears that you have indeed managed to avoid 'pulling a Valve', it's also out on time, in fact a day early for us (and several days early for Gamestop customers, darn Gamestop,

Pre-ordered mine. Was in beta. Am in UK. Haven't received an email, but have recieved new key in Impulse itself (not that it ever showed me it I don't think) Download is 53.2% complete. :)

If it hasn't changed much since the last beta I played (I missed a version or two, got bored of keeping on redownloading the game again and again) RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRREEEEEEEEEEEEEEGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGUUUUUUUUUUUUULLLLLLLLLLLLUUUUUUUUUUUUUSSSSSSSSSS
Yeah I was in the beta, just to clarify. Sorry should have said that. Non-pre-order customers shouldn't be getting it until tommorow anyway.
