If someone is too lazy or has some mental probles that cause his head to hurt whenever looking at a post that is longer then three short sentences, he doesn't realy have to read it. But for us, who don't have such problems, those regular updates from you are very valusable. It shows us that you are there, remeber about us and care for us. It is extreamly popular that developers keep quiet about the issues that community is pointing out, and when they speek, they are talking about some

It's not about believing him or not. If he runs the game smoothly with another game running in the background - hey good for him! But it doesn't change a thing. I don't want to be forced to steal one of latest NASA computers to play the game that should be handled with a decent PC. Because come on - this game shouldn't be co hardware eating. I've run Fallout 3 on medium video settings smoothly with the specs i've listed above.
Ok let's have look at recommended requirements: 3 GHz Processor (Multicore Supported) 1 GB Available System Memory 256 MB 3D Video Card (ATI Radeon 2600 / Nvidia GeForce 7600 or better) As for processor same thing again - it doesn't say i NEED multicore processor, it just sayes it is supported. Agian game should run "okayish" in 3 GHz Pentium according to those specyfications. And again my 2.2 GHz Athlon will work better in games the 3 GHz Pentium - according to my k
I hate to bump topics but any word of wisdom from anyone that have any insight into the topic and what are actual problems with the engine would be very apriciated.
But come on... let's look at the minimum requirements. It turns out that those are misleading! Windows XP SP3 / Vista SP1 2.4 GHz Processor 512 MB Available System Memory 8 GB Available Hard Drive Space 128 MB 3D Video Card (ATI Radeon X1600 / Nvidia GeForce 6800 or better) Procesor - i have AMD Athlon 3200+ which has 2,2 Ghz clock speed, but on the other hand it is superior to 3 Ghz intel procesor in terms of gaming, and since it is not mentioned wha
Wiat... so you're telling me, that the lags i have are not caused by the old card i've been using, but by the CPU?! I've just bought a new video card to be able to play the game, and you're trying to tell me that it won't help my game experience? If this is true, i am astonished... it is unacceptable. Those units doesn't do anything that should be causing so much CPU consumtion. They just walk from one spot to another... and then fight. I can understand that rendering so many of them would ca

In Darkness and Light (anyone?), game almost exactely same like Demigot but inferior to it, there actualy was a solution for this: If the game run long enought (as far as i remeber it was 25 minutes by default), and one team didnt manage to overrun enemy by that time (destroy their citadel), two boss monsters spawned in both bases. Each boss has had its health and damage based on its team score. But even the weakeas boss was superior to any player on the map. When monsters clushed in
You could have purchased it online direct from Stardock. Then there is no need to wait for boxed copies to arrive.
I was thinking about it, but then it turned out that will be able to buy the game for half the price with prepaid card for one store that was given to me. Also i had to check if the game will run smoothly on my rusty PC. Since it doesn't i need to save as much as i can to buy new card.</p
Well... i'm playing pirate version right now, until boxes arrive to stors in my country. Also had to chech if my PC will run the game (it starts to lag when there are too many creeps on the map.. looking for new graphic card right now). On a side note, someone stated that pirate verion will lack day 0 patch. Well... it doesn't. It actualy had this patch applied before the day 0.
Exuse me for not reading all the posts, but thread starter is wrong in his very first sentences, and i rush to point his mistake: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Darkness_and_Light_(video_game)
Well... your game has been officialy pirated less then hour ago. To be honest it's just a bit surprising that it happened that late. It was unavoidable never the less. I'll pick up my copy as soon as it arrives at my store. And i think you guys shouldn't worry about it being pirated. I wish to you that Demigod will be a success. And i wish it to myself since your success means bigger community and more of your support for us! :)
http://gamecorner.pl/gamecorner/1,86013,6402519,Gramy_w_Demigod___relacja_na_zywo_.html (polish language) Gamecorner is quite popular polish gamers for gamers blog, and the link above is to their "we're playing .... - live report" series. They got access to the beta. I'll translate their conclusion, which is very favouring, below. But the problem is, that there are very few news about the game overal. They posted 3 infos (aside from live report) about the game: one that the game will
Depanding on how the game has been created you can have a whole variety of possible hacks. You have to remeber that every variable is stored in the ram (your's or the server's... or both) and can be altered with basic knowledge of what, where and how to look for as long as you have uncontrolled access to those variables. Also, every data sent and receaved by the client can be altered too (as far as i know its harder then messing in ram - but i have bo experience in this). My point is - if it'
Thanks for fast reply. This is some kind of idea, but it doesn't adress the 'impatience factor' :P I've been realy waiting for the game to come out for quite a long time now, and i'm 100 possitive that will appeal to me in term of fun since i've spent alot of hours playing game exactly same in terms of idea of gameplay. But you didn't answer my second question.. should i be worried? :) Edit: Waiting for demo is not the best solution since you don't know when it
Quite a long time ago now my friend told me "there is a game in developement you might be interested in". And he was very right about that. He knew that I was a great fan of "Darkness and Light" MMO which worked on exactly same concept as Demigod and DoTa (which I was far too late to get into). Sadly DaL was shut down and I realy missed a game like this. And now, there are only few dayes to play even better game then DaL. I am almost certain i will buy Demigod, but before i do so, i'd like t
