Great post Darvin. The questions I have about QoT and Sedna though is that it seems to be viable in most maps that they need to deal with their mana issues ASAP, wouldn't that make them at least very mana gear or mana pot dependant? Also wouldn't some builds of Regulus do just fine w/o much gear if they are relying on stuff like snipes and mines? As Reg I just max mark and mines and that does plenty of damage right there and I spend the rest of my

So naturally good players know which Citadel upgrades are important for your match and when, especially that they are important period. However, if every player on your team is smart, that means someone who bought that Currency upgrade or Catapultasaurii is gold you now don't have to spend. Since some DGs and/or builds are more gear dependant than others, which would you suggest typically stick with only gearing up and which would benefit the team more by prioritizing cit upgrades? Ev
But once SC2 comes out I'm sure it won't take long for DotA to be ported over and get a graphical upgrade. I'm sure it'll take some work but someone will make it happen.
It wouldn't surprise me if Blizzard actually hired some mapmakers to have DotA built into the game for the custom maps. That or when public beta hits the mapmakers will have a DotA "upgrade" ready by release.

You take a rook, who starts off at, I don't know, 2600 health? Something like that? The first tower ability raises a tower with somewhere around 800 hp? Now you're talking about not some player itself, but an AREA that can do significant damage, an

At least a high cost would justify such an amazing ability. 4250 is way too damn cheap for a 3k rejuv potion that doesn't consume on a respectable cooldown, as well as the unnecessary but obviously nice passive benefits. Removing the effect on damage keeps it from making the game boring but I don't think during beta they realized h

In a perfect world this could work but unfortuately there are a lot of dicks out there who believe it's cool to do whatever it takes to win, even if it's to make the game a whole lot less fun for the other players. Blizzard never implemented this feature into Battle.net and they have been successful for a very long time because of their decisions. Obviously it cannot come to pass.
Its a two way street dude. You have more people shit talking DotA in this thread than you do people saying its the best thing since sliced bread. Infact most DotA players are saying there's room for both. I prefer DotA but I like variety thats my thing. The diversity is light years ahead, but it's also been out for years so it's got a huge headstart. DG fanboys have to realize that without DotA (or AoS) there wouldn't b
Just because this tool can be used by pirates doesn't mean the people who use it are pirates. Is every big game hunter a homicidal maniac because he has a gun? Giving the OP crap like he's supporting piracy would be like attacking someone selling their gun and telling them they might as well post instructions on how to plan a murder. This tool has great purposes and would only be flammable if it were redundant and served to draw away the DG community from the Stardock s
The best reviews are ones that don't give opinions about the games but just state facts and details that you can't find on a fan wiki or otherwise. You should be able to come up with your own review then. Although, any game you haven't played and trying to form an opinion on before trying is more of a preview than a review.
Anyone who wants to say DotA is a trash game is just being selectively blind to the obvious backing it has. Any game that has an e-sport tied to it has earned immunity from saying it's a bad game. Outside of that, it's difficult to come down on DG players as they weren't originally harassing newcomers, so the crap they are giving
Heart of Life needs to be nerfed. It's not a god item (Artifact) but it sure plays like one. For most builds it's basically mandatory and no one's gold reserve should be X - 4250 (or less with like the favor bag) every game because an item changes the game so dramatically. Only artifacts deserve that distinction and late-game being OP is mandatory anyway otherwise the game is an infinite stalemate. Anything that appears to use oddball methods to circumvent neglected programming failsafes has

Doesn't sound Demigod related, but I just wanted to point out that the opportunity to quench the thirst of millions of bored WoW players who were waiting on new content just got their prayers answered. I have a QuickCam but after killing the app in the tray and killing the app in task mgr it still doesn't run. This sounds weird but the only way it runs is if I reboot and immediately launch the game as soon as I log in. If I start more than a moment later or the game crashes and I have to restart it, I get the same issue where I get an hourglass but no response. I tried killing any apps that weren't specifically just for windows OS and nothing is working except my convoluted solution. <
