i don't know what order you picked GP (i presume it was after the Karthus because you wanted to make sure to beat him in lane, which is a reasonable goal). The legitament beef that pacov could have with GP is that he doesn't have any defensive waveclear until he gets Stattik. Espiecially against a Lulu + Karthus, you have to be absolutely sure that botlane does well because otherwise they will rotate midlane after a quick bot tower and then get 2 early towers off of it. <

it's +10 autoattack damage. They basically just converted it from magic to physical (technically slightly worse since jungle monsters have 0 or negative MR). There is a tooltip hotfix already on PBE.
it wasn't a "free" triple at least. i think we had gotten a double (maybe a triple if TF had teleported as well?). The TP just converted a 2-0 into a 2-3 :( i def understand that the Volibear top "anti-ganked" you. Dying while you have Ignite v TP in an early gank is ... catastrophic. Still a "team resource" though :) One problem with Nidalee is it is pretty hard to gank for her. This was also true with AP Nid mid (and one of the reasons that lane is considered so weak un
i don't think that anyone here is claiming that you must pick A/S-tier champs only. i've always been a strong proponent of Cow's Brand and i mean there's Anivia. My point was more: you can't complain about other people picking weaker champs if you-yourself are picking a B-list. i do think you're going to have to get more used to slower-scaling botlanes though, Karl. Riot is pushing the hyperscaling ADC paradigm from Season 2 (luckily without the insanit
i wasn't talking about LCS. i'm saying that just because mid lane might boil down to "Karl hits a stun and then follow up on it" at our skill level, doesn't mean that mid lane is somehow completely isolated from all team comp issues and you can just pick whatever. When midlane is actually the most impactful lane. Even in bronze, there's a huge difference in how the first 15 minutes go if you have a Fizz versus a Ziggs.
Mid (almost any AP champion usually take into account lane opponent/team comp
i really really really disagree with this statement. Your mid + jungle combo has a massive impact on the pacing of the game for the first 15 minutes, and how you are going to start teamfights. Top and support basically either: double-down on strengths, or flesh out your weaknesses. (excluding "cheesy" stuff like a suicide-splitpush Quinn/Teemo who have a dramatic effe
while i don't think it's completely unreasonable to be upset when people screw up or whatever, you do have to make sure you take criticism well the other way. My opinion has always (generally) been that it is best to have meta or gameplay-analysis sort of questions out-of-game because trying to dismantle someone's entire playstyle while in-game is unlikely to work :) Criticism while in-game should generally be limited to "oh we made a mistake we should not d
No you build Sheen when the /enemy/ goes Chalice.
adding to this: Obviously free early dragons are a great thing, and you should try to get dragons whenever they are "free". But unless the game is 3v5 and you've already taken every outer tower in first 10 minutes, a dragon isn't "Free". You're trading health, time (CS/EXP/Tower damage) and mana for global gold. First 10-15 minutes, that global gold is slightly only more than you would have gotten just CS'ing (if it is a cannon minion wave). So really, only the
um, there's two big things that are different about LCS: 1- 4v0 meta is completely and totally different than how we play 2- Supports and Junglers are chosen specifically for the early dragon rush, and they know how to juggle the dragon aggro to take no damage. This means stuff like Thresh and Elise. The 3:30 dragons that they do are no way relevant to how we play now. Now, if you want to have "real talk" about 12 minute dragons... i mean eve
well, my internet died. sorry about that.
That's how I ended my gaming night anyway. Fast aside - hedgie (or anyone) if you are really wanting to play a specific role before playing a game, just let me know via pm.
i just didn't want to listen to Cow bellyache about Fizz even though he "chose" to go mid after the Fizz was picked. At least Velkoz + Quinn would have been fun while we fed botlane 3/15 in the first 8 minutes and the game would have been over soon. Not to ment
The functionality is a duplication of what happens in the mini-map. That is, you only see the (accurate) timers if you see the buff/objective die (it would show a timestamp in chat). Otherwise you'll only see a "dead" indicator. Furthermore, the timers are only visible when you hit tab, so you do still have to consider the timers, they won't be 100% in your face all the time. It'll make denying enemy vision while doing an objective (since the auto-timer wil
Here are my thoughts - I'm not used to having hedgie jungle. We all differ a bit with how we run things (ex - I don't trust Bryff's adc brain, but I generally trust his top lane brain). Anyway, he decides to leave the novelty lane alone which keeps an annie/thresh lane in the game and eventually overpowers us. I'd be the 1st to admit I did not play well enough. But I disagree with hedgie's decision to not take dragon control
If you're building IE as a first item, you have already decided that your goal is to do as much damage as possible. If you build anything else, you're focusing on some other form of utility. Whether that is life-steal (BT), spellpower burst (Ez/Kog/Corki with TF), or kiting (BotRK). So in those contexts we have to consider what you're trying to do. But, with IE, we've decided all you care about is maximizing damage. i claim that in a typical teamfight,
That's a good point. However, you do need lifesteal somewhere unless you are a positioning god or you're willing to put all your Quints back into lifesteal (which loses first 5 levels against AS quints). However, BotRK still provides a decent amount of attack speed, and it increases your "uptime" since it allows you to kite/survive longer, thereby enabling you more time to get those crits. BotRK is not that great with a Zeal item unless your Vayne/
still reading... what was it? Don't have access to the stat site at work
50% in ranked 5s 51% in diamond/challenger (the Elos that cope with Skarners playstyle really well by invading him + kiting). 52% in plat 53% in bronze-gold, making him nearly as good as Amumu at lower ranks. 55% in normal games (for whatever that's worth ???)
i guess the second half of this question is what items you should build second/third. If you go IE, you should always go BotRK afterwards. IE > BotRK > LW is probably the highest raw-damage build, though like i said, building IE has its difficulties. If you go BotRK, you "can" build IE afterwards, but you probably should have just built IE first in that case? Unless you were mega-losing the lane, in which case that'd make sense. But, if you build BotRK firs
Nidalee's winrate actually tanked. Even though i do feel like she was buffed, her playstyle did change a lot + she's a bit harder. Once people start playing her top as more of a bruiser (she's an awesome anti-melee like Rumble and she has powerful gank potential like Rengar since her passive has 5000 range) her win rate will start going back up. She's going to be a great AP toplane splitpusher, she's just not quite as good as a "spam nine million spears" poke champ. <
The Pit is awesome. Maybe the very first version wasn't that great (never played it), but the 2nd expansion was absolutely stellar. Ground Pounders is just a very intense game for boardgame enthusiasts... very niche.
doesn't stack.
well apparently the new support item is bugged (the one that gives AS on heals). It gives 8% global movement speed. So better than boots for your entire team. All the time. Better than old Janna passive. lol.
Oppression is extremely crazy powerful. It's one of the most underrated mastery points in the game. For a single point, you basically gain 3 un-pentratable Armor and MR + another 3 Arm/MR for every 100 Arm/MR you have. In addition, it's a massive mitigation when it comes to jungling (because of Red buff and the fact many junglers have spammable AoE slows in their kit). Technically, it's slightly better than the 3% flat HP gained, espiecially once you factor in the
#TP: Your top laner was also playing Renekton. Renekton is one of those champs who actually does makes sense to take ignite because that's the only way he is going to be able to do his job. Even then, there are games where higher Elo players will take TP. (also Bryff takes like pure scaling runes and so it makes zero sense for him to take ignite zzz). And even in high kill-potential lanes, people are taking TP. TP is partially the reason stuff like Kass top works.
