The p2p system is a good approach in terms of lag and latency, but obviously it doesnt work correctly. It takes a really long time (5-10 minutes) for the "Connection Info" Window to appear. And then the fun just starts; If u take a close look you will see some weird stuff going on. The thing ive seen in like 70% of the cases: In the connection info window, you see like 7 people. only 4 of them (including urself) will participate in the game, which u can see at

In my opinion, this is a very slow game. Simply the fact that the game is designed to only control one unit - take dota for example, ive been playing that for 2 years and failed to get my starcraft buddies to play it since they play with 200+ apm. DotA instead lets u roll+smoke a joint while u play it, just to give u an impression. So if you prefer a fast-paced game with a lot of map control, micro and base building, this is nothing for you. But that should not interfe
I dont see the problem there.. Most people in Europe speak english anyways, it's tought in every school. So every person that is old enough to play the game should be able to understand the english version... Im not saying that I expect everybody in europe to speak english, but a pc game usually doesnt contain highly complex terms which you would have to look up in a dictionary. Im from germany and went to amazon to check this game out, then i saw the delay of 1 month.
I usually dont buy games, we all know there are several sources to get everything u need on the net. I planned to buy GTA4 when it was released for PC; yet the reports on the DRM crap and all the bugs (game wont start with ATI video card?? what the hell?) forced me to not buy and not even play it. I spend all my free time playing dota with my friends and we've done so for quite some time. Since Demigod is supposed to have similar gameplay, I purchased demigod yesterday
I totally agree. I guess all the players that played dota/wc3 before are used to this, including myself. I dont want to scroll over the whole map just to move my demigod there - that can be done much faster using the minimap.
