Also: You cannot expect 4 people to go out and buy this game, come home and be able to connect to each other. Really, pacov? Because you know, if I see a game advertising 5v5 Internet multiplayer, I DO ABSOLUTELY expect to be able to buy 10 copies and then play 5v5 games over the Internet. If what you mean is instead, "This game is broken and has too many problems to expect that to work," then I absolutely agree with

QuakeWorld (John Carmack) invented the general solution more than a decade ago, which involves client-side prediction and correction. One of the problems is allowing the speed of the computer to dictate the speed of the game, instead of simply the framerate. This occurred when attempting to make a Skirmish match--I had previously failed to connect two or three times (said I was kicked), and the last time the game crashed with this: EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION (0xc0000005) at address 0x0098e510 attempted to read memory at 0x00000018 Program : C:\Program Files\Stardock Games\Demigod\bin\Demigod.exe Cmd line arguments : Callstack: Unknown symbol (address 0x0098e510)<b
