I wouldn't recommend Banded Armor (550 gold) Scaled Helm (550 gold) As first items... You don't care about armor with Erebus bite, and purchasing monk idol is way better in my opinion as you'll beable to face 2 DG directly in the early game with those and bite. So in priority, buy monks, and then take an helm giving mana (i take the one costing 1500G) it'll allow you to spam bite and mass charm to kill non stop.

He isn't as bad as people make him out to be. You just need to learn his weaknesses and take advantage of them. [e classic]:congrat:[/e]
You should give him a try. [e digicons]:bebi:[/e]
Thank you for the kind words. Dalzk is correct though there are various ways to play Erebus, my guide just defines the type of items and build I use while offering information, Strategies, and Techniques.
Very nice guide, well written i can say. If i can just point out somethings IMO could be more usefull. Since its a 5 page guide it would be a good idea on the skill build on page 3 to put a small explanation next to each skill. I know you explained the skills in the previews page but players that dont know the names and no nothing about the demigod will have to go back and forth and read it again.
Firs
[Tribute] So powerful is the worship that Queen of Thorns holds that her servants pay her tribute. 0 yard range, 0.0 second cast, 0 second cool down. Mana Cost Per Rank [ 000/000/000/000 ] [Passive Ability] + 4 Gold for Army Taken from Cerulean_Shaman's Handbook to Queen of Thorns.
Tested the link out myself and it's working. Though I edited the post and relinked it for added assurance and it's still working for myself. Let me know if it still doesn't work and in case it still doesn't here is the link to the guide itself. http://www.gamereplays.org/demigod/portals.php?show=page&name=Demigod-Strategy-Guide-Lord-Erebus&home
Sorry for the delay. Click Here To View Cheers. If anyone has questions you can post here, send a PM, or catch me on Demigod my name is Gyli until the name change is allowed.
The guide has been posted on Gamereplay for a while. As Crittias mentioned I'm currently waiting for the editors to edit it and code it to be posted on the portal. I was told that since it was rather long it would take a while. The moment I know it's on the portal is the moment you guys will know as well.
Besides, Coven, Conversion and Bite what other skills do you max for a minion heavy build? The reason I prefer to play more assassin like is because I can't find a good minion build that would take all the skills I love as an assassion erebus.
Poisoned Blood twice for Vampiric Aura since it affects your minions, and Morale. A decent minion build would be the one listed below in my opinion. When geared with minion increasing equipment
To be honest a more knowledgeable player would ignore Erebus during mist form. Regardless of a 'easy' finish it would be more much seneseable to just ignore him since there isn't much of a choice and begin to push onward applying pressure on him and his team. Despite Erebus locking out one of your waves. He is locking him team out on one Demigod and based on the players the team can steamroll into the base.
You are indeed correct as to the +10% being a general increase despite being in mist form or not. Though the bonus is mainly to boost the usage of Mist form since your unable to move or act, but regardless it is useful when not in Mist form, but it seems like a waste of points to put all the way into mist to put a point into Bloody haze to not use Mist and just use the evasion increase part of it. Don't worry when I first started Erebus and I was testing out various setups around Mist
Regulus can toss mines into the mist and it will in fact damage Erebus while in Mist form. Oak's AoE will affect Erebus as well. Torchbearer can bring him out by casting Circle of Fire, Fire Nova, and Rain of Ice. Just because he's in Mist form doesn't mean he is invernable. There is a reason why Bloody Haze increases his evasion by 10% while in Mist form. Since he can't heal, use abilities, or move while in Mist form it will force him to either die or come out.
Nice guide.
I played against a Torchbearer a few days ago who was full fire and casted Circle of Fire, Fire Nova, and Fireball before he used Orb of Defiance. When he came out he would use his abilities again. I'm not sure if you can use Heart of Life follow by Orb of Defiance though it would be a nice combination of items.
The game just picks up your Impulse nick (if you don't have an alias set, it's your name). Changes to your nick should transfer over to demigod within 24 hours. The web guys are planning to add an option for users to change their in-game names manually (separate from impulse) after things settle down.
I can't wait for that option I want to change my name from Gyli to ViridShaman on the game. I would of created a new account as ViridSham

Lord Erebus can solo Rook in a 1v1 situation. Regulus can kite rook around with maim, Torchbearer with Permafrost and speed boots for added kicks will cause Rook to not even come close to him.
The new Erebus guide has been finished and will be appearing on gamereplay in a while (undergoing editing by the editors) I will post a link once it is finished. Will begin work on my Torchbearer guide soon.
VirirdShaman here I would just like to pass down a tip that was passed down to me by Cerulean_Shaman who got this tip passed down to him by Saigex. Capture Lock is something people usually overlook though in the hands of someone who knows the mechanics of the game this nifty item can cause serious problems for the other team. Though some people may be asking just exactly does this item do? Well I'll tell you. Capture Lock prohibits a flag from being captured by anyone on the map fo
No you need to max out coven as well as Improved Conversion aura for army of night. As I stated it was a mistake and I have re-written the entire Erebus guide I'm currently of editting screenshots I've taken for the guide before I change it.
I'll be adding both builds to the revisioned torchbearer guide and I argree to be a good Tb a mixture of both are needed I was testing around with a ice and fire build and switching between both or "Stance dancing" worked wonderfully. I'm sorry for any mistakes that might be in this guide and the revisioned guide will be rid of these mistakes with more information.
Currently rewriting both my erebus and torchbearer guide to fix problems and make it more indepth I'm sorry for any mistakes that might be in the guide. The new verison of the guide will be fixed of these problems with a proper tree and selection of abilities with more information added. After they are done being rewritten they will be put on gamereplays and a link will lead you towards it.
I understand wnmnkh when I come back home after taking care of some things I need to do I'm going to revise and work on the this guide and the erebus guide, correcting things and all that.
I understand your point of view, but as I stated I personally don't find that method effective at the start of the match. I just don't find it worth my time others don't use it as well. Now some people may use it such as yourself and you may find it more effective, but whither you do use it or don't doesn't determine the fact if your a good general player or not. Because I've played with many generals who don't use that method and are incredibly talented in the match. I
