Sorian just posted in his blog ( http://soriandev.blogspot.com/ ) the following: "I have also spent a good chunk of this week working on Demigod fixes. Apparently Stardock has sent us a list of bugs they would like to see fixed, and I am happy to oblige. It gives me a reason to kick some AI butt with Demon Assassin on work hours. I did manage to fix a bug that has been bothering me since the last patch, which is n

People who purchased the Collector's Edition had it added to their Impulse accounts in early November. There appears to be no other way to get it. Better info in this thread: http://forums.demigodthegame.com/347981/page/2/#replies
TB cannot leave the spawn point as player 1, in either Light or Dark side. Had to use amulet of teleportation to get started [e digicons]:annoyed:[/e]
I had a similar experience on Saturday. I won 5 of 6 games and got 1 win and 2 losses recorded. Host exploits were used in 4 of 6 games I played. It's pretty hard to improve my 20% win ratio if only the losses get recorded (and wins get recorded as losses). I wouldn't care so much, but I keep getting kicked due to poor win ratio. It is kinda funny though when the host forces me onto the other team, and then we win 'cause our team is stacked against them!<
Try running a good memory test program. Demigod uses more memory than most games and could be exercising some flaky memory. This would explain the non-deterministic nature of this issue.
A win rate for the last 30 days, and number of games played in the last 30 days would be great. Win rate with current demigod would be nice, but the stat overlay may not be able to tell which demigod you selected.
Fix for TorchBearer being unable to fire while moving by Sorian . Unless it is applied as an official fix (which it should be). All of the others mentioned above.
It would be ideal if Stardock would include the top 10 - 20 favorite mods in a minor patch every two weeks or so. That way the modding community can provide important fixes that can easily be used by all players in between major patch versions. It would also make it much easier to get a multiplayer game going that added new features, such as new favor items or artifacts. Since they are mods, players only need to activate those that they agree with. [e digicons]:f
Insanely fun! [e digicons]XD[/e] Used smart AI mod and played as TB with BotS on Zikurat vs 5 hard AI. TB levels up insanely fast, and becomes an offensive juggernaut! Start out as Fire and then add Ice. TB with all of his skills active is crazy fun. Thanks for the good time Sevenix! [e digicons]k5[/e]
I just posted my theory on this bug in another thread. http://forums.demigodthegame.com/367597/get;2420628 I believe it is related to the sound sub-system, and thus dependent on PC hardware. Because of this, some people may see this bug every time the map control announcement is issued, and others will never see it (unless another player in the game has the problem).
I believe this crash/desync is related to a timing bug in the sound sub-system. If a process takes way longer than expected to process it can cause the game to get out of sync and/or crash since there are no checks past that point in time to see if the sound event has completed or not. It might also occur if a process takes way less time than expected. (I'm a real-time software engineer, so these are educated guesses on my part. I've never done any actual game programm
When viewing a replay, change your view to a specific Demigod, turn on tracking (T), then switch back to observer mode. It will keep tracking the previously selected Demigod and there is now no way to turn off tracking (while in observer mode). Switching to observer mode should cancel tracking. It's a minor issue, since there's an easy work-around: just cancel tracking before switching to observer mode.
Being that I only get to play <5 games per week, I have been unable to increase my skills fast enough to become a good player. Replays can significantly reduce the learning curve for those of us who don't play all that often. I have been hanging in there, getting stomped every time I play, just to keep up what little skill I have, waiting for replays to come. Hopefully, after watching some high level games I can get my win/loss ratio above 20% [e digicons]:'([/e] .
I don't have to use /serverproxyonly anymore! [e digicons]k5[/e] I tried playing a game without and it worked perfectly. (Well, almost perfectly, our team lost, but that's 'cause I still suck at playing this game; it had nothing to do with the connection). I guess I should quit blaming Qwest for my problems [e digicons][/e] (although it was their modem/router that was part of the problem).
I had an Actiontec M1000 from Qwest and was having no luck connecting to anyone. Since it was still within the 30 days that I received it, I asked Qwest to swap it out for their wireless model, a Motorola 3347 (it also allows up to 4 wired connections). It took about two weeks, but I eventually received the new modem/router. With the new router I could now connect to 4 other people, but never 5. Worked great for 2v2 games, but nothing bigger. I was pretty sure th
I was the TB player in that game with 2 Reg vs TB & QoT. I was totally surprised to see that game mentioned in this post. Especially since he was frustrated by TB! It was kind of an honor really. Thank-you! I say this since this was actually my first multiplayer game of DemiGod. I hadn't been able to connect to any multiplayer game until the June 3rd update. The game was labelled Noobs (or something like that). The QoT player was no Noob
I had 1.00.047 (the downloaded day 0 release), but still could never start a multi-player game. Today's mini-update, 1.00.048 has fixed all my problems! Thank-you.
I tried both recommendations above as well. I get the update prompt, but when I click it DemiGod closes, I get returned to Impulse, and nothing else happens. No update.
