Sorry, Stardock is taking a break after releasing a broken game. Please wait 6-12 months before anything will be fixed! (/kidding) Seriously though, a patch will be out this week. I'm still kind of miffed I bought a pretty broken game but they've dealt with a lot of BS with the launch. The game is fun when it works correctly. :I

When is Pantheon stats tracking going to come back up? It went down and completely stopped tracking everything. The only thing I saw was about Epoch 0 but it just sounds like an excuse for not being ready for release. :I Other than that, the game is fun but I hope you guys really fix the Pantheon stuff like favor tracking and such... it's getting annoying losing all my achievements every game (and the items). :P

If you guys fix the crashing bugs that seem to kill my games, I will be happy. :)

Seeing as how I risk crashing out when playing this game, you would figure it would have some sort of feature to reconnect you to an ongoing game. I know its P2P but it would be a nice future feature at least for Pantheon if it could record what game you were playing in before you crashed or got disconnected. Then again, it took Guild Wars over 2 years to get reconnects added to their game and that wasn't even P2P! :( (I hope they solve the crashing bugs for quad-cores one day

Just because you don't get crashes doesn't mean other people aren't having issues. Granted, I don't crash constantly like some but I seem to crash occassionaly when I level up... ;p

I'm more annoyed that the game has so many damn bugs and crashes.. not to mention the MP issues and saving my passwords in plain-text. Where the hell was Stardock's QA team?

The really bad part is that if you're a person who tries to use some sort of 3rd party app (a trainer for example) with this game you're entirely at risk at losing not only Demigod but any other games you purchase through Impulse.... Hell, they could even just write a virus that checks this file and make good money stealing accounts. :/

I don't think they can ban you for it... they even store your Impulse password in plain-text in that file. I'm just waiting for someone to write a trainer that steals everyone's passwords when you use it... lol

You can edit the Game.prefs file to fix it, but I haven't been able to test it in MP since servers are borked...

I doubt it will work in Multiplayer... MP is what is breaking the achievement tracking anyways. Here's a quick screen of the cheat:

Go into My Documents\My Games\Gas Powered Games\Demigod\ and look for the file called Game.prefs. Search for the line that looks something like this: Points = -915, (negative in my case) Edit that line and make it something like 500000. BAM, you get all your items back. :)

In the file called Game.prefs under ***\My Games\Gas Powered Games\Demigod\ I think you can even edit the items you have unlocked there...

I'm also running a Q6600 with 4 GB RAM and XP x64 but I'm using a ATI Radeon 4890... I get artifacts on the menu screens occassionaly (the video card just cant handle the power of those menus!!) and I seem to crash sometimes when I level up but I never see anything in the crash log.. the last thing I usually see is the game setting the variable for some audio level up thing (wheee!)

Don't feel too bad I have the same problem as you; I lost all of my achievements and items randomly today. :D

I'm now stuck at -555 favour points and I lost all of my achievements as well as my favour items. What gives? I don't understand how many bugs can be in this game and they still decided to release it... I guess having no favour items is better than crashing every 20-30 minutes whenever I level up....
