. Rage Quitter is still practically auto-loss, even after the updates.
Oh yeah i still agree with that - my point was mainly that it has improved - that I have noticed anyway. For example a tower spamming Rook was still tower spamming - certainly not remotely to the level of a player but still - I have seen Rooks just suddenly try and turn into deathmatch kings once the player rage quits. I

It is somewhat better. Last night I played 2 games and of course there was at least 1 ragequitter per game - so common now it's a feature - anyhow - I was midly impressed with what the ai was then doing. In fact they mixed it up so much that i had to double check the score list to make sure it was in fact ai and not a player - that to me is a sign of improving ai quality. Now if they could only do something about how easy the ai is to farm it'd be almost perfect imo. I'

Reg gets somewhat OP'd when he starts donning artifacts - then again, which demigod isnt by that stage? Best counter i have found vs Regulus is quite simple - either 1. beef up your HP and be aggressive towards him, the more damage you put on him the less he'll be inclined to stick around, or 2. bring a pet sedna with you. It's funny how many people watch mines thrown out, know approximately where they have landed and still continue to run over them then bitch -omg mines!! pro tip - g

Use your brains. I regularly play with a friend, sometimes two. I infinitely prefer a close down to the wire fight to a walk-over. In fact walking over a newbie team in Demigod is absolutely boring as shit as the only real satisfaction in killing other players is the challenge in actually besting someone who is incredibly hard to kill. Walking over noobs is NOT satisfying and not how i choose to spend my next 20 minutes. That being said I never ad

Only problem atm with rage quitters imo is that many of them arent actually rage quitters and have in fact been dropped mid-game. I randomly had my game crash the other night for absolutely NO reason mid-game. I think it was the first time ever the goddamn game just completely froze and i had to alt-f4. Likewise people can still randomly drop despite all the work done on connectivity. It's not always clear when someone has ragequit - such as last

Until we can press alt-p to punch someone in the nuts across the interwebs, rage quitting will always be an issue in online gaming.

The game has been considerably better however last night was absolutely pox. It was literally like 3 weeks ago with some pretty severe connection issues going on. We even had this thing happen where we were waiting in a lobby 5/6 australian 3v3 and it suddenly 'blended' us with some random 5v5 game so that half the people in the lobby were different and everyone is typing, WTF?! Then after a few moments we were back together albeit losing one guy. Beyond tha

Hi guys, I offered it around to my friends first and no-one took it up so.. Got a 50% off coupon available for an Australian player only- obviously I want more players in my own timezone. More players = more game options. PM me with your details - email etc and i'll happily pass it on.

You're not going to gank Oak if he sees it coming. You need to damage him somewhat then try and surprise him with a 2v1 gangbang. It's usually easy to escape any encounter 1v1 , it's where one guy stuns you and another suddenly appears with the can of whoop ass where most tears are born

I personally prefer Demigod to DOTA but i think DOTA's map wipes the floor with Demigod's offerings. Demigod is more arena based while DOTA offers more of a...i don't know what you'd call it, but more of a fighting 'environment.' Like someone posted previously, in DOTA you can sneak around and take people by surprise and lanes play a lot more importance. In Demigod it's more like a sport where you don't really have this. Sure you can try and surprise gang up on people but it's n

Good post OP - in particular when talking about creep waves. I havent played DOTA in several years but there is a substancial difference between the two games in regards to creep waves. DOTA does do it better - and i hope Demigod can improve in this regard. You should never be able to wipe out the enemy creeps in one hit, and likewise, you should be rewarded for keeping your own ones alive, and having 2-3 waves stack together and really pushing forward with momentum. DOTA afterall is PVP base

Last night I am watching TV and the digital reception keeps getting interfered with. Every 2 minutes or so the sound is dropping out for around 5-10 seconds at KEY MOMENTS. I am OVER THIS crap. I had my computer on upstairs with Impulse loaded, and I know full well it wasn't just co-incidence; it MUST be related. I ask, no i DEMAND answers from STARDOCK.
I’m stuck living in the 3rd world and the game was FINALLY released here on Friday 25 May. During the weekend I had a good number of games and it seems to be working pretty well, the major problem I’ve seen with my compatriots is not being able to connect to everybody else because they haven’t opened up ports 6100-6200, once they figure that out everybody’s problems magically go away. As for

Yeah i know what you are saying. Played a game the other night with 2 friends vs 3 randoms and we absolutely spanked them and it was 100% boring and unsatisfying. Whereas me, a friend and a random went against 3 friends a few nights and it was down to the wire until they finally got over us (i blame our random). The game is great when challenging, sucks ass when not. But still, that's a different issue from people ragequiitting. Had one guy quit a millisecond before i c
