Totally agree with the OP. Being Australian, at night I regularly let late night Americans into my games and play without issue. 250ish pings on a decent connection are absolutely fine. I only draw the line at Europeans (of which we get tons try and join our 3v3 AUSSIE games ffs!) as 3-400+ms really turns into a slugfest. Seriously, cut us a little slack. ps. it's not the size of your ping, it's how you use it

One of the biggest advantages of not dying is the time you get to yourself in the lane. You either have two of your team there who can really push hard on the now undefended tower/lane, or even if you just drive them back to their crystal you are still given vital moments to chip away at the towers HP - if not outright finish it. If you die, you miss out on this really underrated advantage - and that's not even mentioning what others said above. The risk of letting another dem

I have been finding lately that I am having troubles finding a balance between damage related items and defence based. When I play something against classes like UB, TB, Regulus - where they can take a ton of HP off me very quickly, my answer is usually stacking HP through items. I find by getting as much HP as possible can really negate their nastier attacks, particularly if they're going in for a gangbang. I worry though that too much HP is reducing my own effectiveness in regards to damagi

Also worth mentioning that if you see a 2v1 about to happen, get the HELL out of dodge. Most times I'm caught and killed is because I have somehow missed the 2v1 gangbang approaching and hung around a split second or two longer than i should of. One unlucky stun and you = toast.

It's funny, with all the problems Demigod has been experiencing since release, I'm actually starting to find that there's almost *too much* communication! Not having a bitch in any way shape or form but seriously starting to find it difficult keeping up with the information! There's like updates for updates and updates on updates all in seperate threads. Might be a good idea to start editing updates into the same thread and pinning it or somesuch - like when you look at thi

I think one of the main things about this patch going live is it will bring the regular and beta communities together. Hate knowing they have been divided when the aussie players are thin enough at night as is.

IMO the problem is a game can be quite clearly lost and then still go for a good 15-20 minutes while it plays out. That's my beef with it. If you have a couple of really average feeder teammates like I did last night, they give the other team such a massive advantage that in the end it's really not worth the time just playing out the inevitable. I am a big believer of 'there's always a chance of turning it around', but when your feeder teammates keep dying and cant score any kills either, it'

Yeah i read your post after I had made mine, while what you are talking about is a little different to the way I would implement it, it's essentially working towards the same ends. I think we all agree it'd be nice to share the costs of these expensive citadel upgrades - or find some user-friendly intuitive way to allow players to 'pay them off' - lay-by if you will :)

Yeah the colour ring would work. I think the pop up vote would drive you nuts though - like imagine you are microing in a really intense fight, where a mis-click can totally screw you, and a box pops up wanting some kind of input...perhaps if it was to the side of the screen. But yeah, i think that would achieve the same ends anyway. If i was stardock, at the very least i would implement the way of identifying who has bought which upgrade as that would have to be easy -

Alright we all know that the Citadel upgrades are another layer unto themselves. What i do find though is that some of the more expensive ones can really cripple a player who is more intent on teamplaying than saving up for an artifiact. A few times i've had enough gold for an artifact and really wanted it but instead dumped huge amounts of gold into an aspect of the citadel purely for my team to utilise it. What i think would be an absolutely awesome way of taking the burden off

Not in stores yet but the main issue atm isnt player numbers(well it is to a smaller degree), it's the connectivity issues. Hopefully the proxies will fix them, but time will tell. To date playing from here has been immensely frustrating.

The thing that gets me is - for the past few nights ive specifically hooked up with 2 other friends to get some games going. Now that's 3 of 6 - it's just getting the other 3..... At this stage I cant even consider 4v4 or 5v5. There are player numbers out there - less aussies than i would like for the moment but given its not out retail that's not overly unexpected - But even with 2 friends, WE cant often randomly connect into each others games. All 3 of us are cluey when

Any of you aussies out there actually played an ONLINE 4v4 or 5v5? The most I have ever played is a 3v3 and would _absolutely kill_ to get some 4v4/5v5's happening. Nightly scenario is usually for some weird reason being stuck at 5/6 ingame for a 3v3, waiting around for on average over 30 minutes for the 6th to get in. i have absolutely no idea why it always gets to 5/6 before we start really getting owned by yellow ping joiners. When we get the magic 6th, bam, we're away. Had a great
