Good job Stardock. I buy a game as a gift because you send me an email with a coupon, but now my friend can't play it because your using email addresses as a differentiation between accounts. Why would I buy another one of your games for myself? You guys really just have no idea what your doing, do you? Get your act straight.
Stardock, why would you release a game that doesn't work? If you did any QA on the game, there's just no way you could miss the countless bugs in-game, the game locking up and having to kill the process in the task manager after failing to connect to a player in the lobby, games timing out during a match, a useless friends list which doesn't tell you what game your friend is in, no favor (which was initially working and you managed to break in a patch)
"Not to sound like a jerk, but maybe you could give it the rest of the week at least and see if the multiplayer issues are fixed. Play some single player and figure out your favorite demigod." This is impossible when the single player crashes constantly.
It's completely the game's fault and not yours. There is nothing you can do about it until they fix it. By far the worst release for a multiplayer game I've seen.
This happens because this game is trash, and no one ran any QA or stress testing on it before release. One possible reason is that there is only one generic error message when you can't join a game. So if the game is full or was closed before it was removed from your custom game list it will give you the generic message and not a specific one to tell you what actually went wrong. Since the refresh rate is so terrible though, you can't refresh fast enough to get
