I find it pretty awesome...its much better at rank 2. You can use it to prevent getting hit by fireballs/spit/gadgets, or so you can be immune while you wait for CDS. You can push lanes with it and get full mana with Warp Area + BotS (as microstar stated). BotS seems like a must for DA.

All random would be awesome. Everyone could play everything, instead of the same people picking the same thing every time.
Removing those new favor items is a great move. They were a really bad idea! :)
Its so you can drop from fire to ice to chase a fleeing demigod. You have the dmg buff, and can attack on the run. It's obviously the way it was intended since its been like this since beta, and they even said that it was working as intended. I don't know why people still say its a bug. It's not a bug, it's just not the way you want it.
I would like a key if anyone has one to spare. Thanks!
God i wish we had more stuck up DOTA players. At least they'd be full of themselves and actually play instead of screaming "premade", when I play with one of my friends who has under 30% win ratio. This is the worst gaming community I've ever been a part of. It's too bad I enjoy the game.
no way.. I still play ufo defense occasionally when i'm bored. Best games ever.
lol. You guys are silly. Erebus has already been nerfed. How can you even pretend he's overpowered when you have UBs running around.
You can also use it to cap flags that are behind/between towers. While invul, you still take flags. Works decently on center base flag on prison.
They key to crucible is to not upgrade until its almost over. If you are winning(killling them more), then just sit behind their first set of towers, and kill the waves that come. Your waves will die to the towers, and you can keep them from getting xp/gold. If they try and portal in behind you at their tower, attack them when they get too close(honestly if you grab armor early enough you can ignore the towers and kill them with your teammate). Farm up a bit till
It's not the ping. I just don't like aussies :P
I only had problems connecting to larger games before (4v4s, 5v5s). Now I connect much quicker to the lobby and to everyone in it. Id say 90% of the time I join a game, within 15 seconds I'm fully connected. That being said, I've joined some games where I still see some people who just cant connect to each other (although I connect to them fine). So all in all, I found the update extremely successful but obviously those people with multiple IPs are still having trouble
Kind of pointless. The list would be the majority of players.
Both builds are good. I prefer going mostly with fire, and getting deep freeze up so that you can get the 1350 fireball. The key to TB is to grab a mana helm or two then stack hp/armor. Don't go for +dmg items, or faster attack items. If you stack hp/armor, you can have 5k hp+ with a ton of armor. Remember armor doesn't negate spell/ability damage, so end game their dmg(regulus, oak, unclean beast) has gone way down while yours is still good.
make your teammate go Sedna :P
[quote who="SpenceRupert" reply="9" id="2194608"]As some one who plays erebus almost exclusively, I can say a tower build Rook offers more oposition than any othe class in the game, so long as he buys the right gear. The trick to beating erebus as ANY class, is stacking armor. 90% of erebus' damage comes from physical means, so it's pritty easy to get 45%+ damage mitigation and he's effectively not hurting you at all. At that point just ignore him, don't even bother trying to kill
If you're a TB and regulus is spending all his money on +dmg/speed items, you need to stack armor. Get 2 mana helms for your mana, and fill the rest of the spots with high hp/armor items. You will still be nuking for the same on him, and even with his upgrades he'll be hitting you super fast but only for like 150. Groffling Plate, GodPlate, bulwark. You can negate his damage, he can't negate yours (other than a bulwark, but then hes spending on defense not offens

I'd get the following instead... Unbreakable Boots - 1500g +600 hp, +800 mana, +5 hp/s Heart of Life - 4250 +15 hp/s, +50% mana/s +300 hp/mana for

I hate to say it, but I don't think competative gaming is for you. Teleport scrolls aren't for running (unless its early game), they're for getting you back and forth on the map without wasting time.
wow super delayed double post :P
Honestly, what did you expect in a 2v2 match when you picked 2 dps characters, and went against a team that has support. Unfortunately the only real healer is Sendna, making her a necessity in a 2v2 (considering everyones a good player). Add a healer to Erebus (who has a heal of his own and is one of the best solo dgs) and its pretty sick. In 2v2 you kind of have to pick your chars around what they get. Sedna and Oak (or even regulus if you're really good) could have w
