I've only really done it with Rook, basically Allfather Ring, Deathbringer, Ashkalon (?), Hauberk of Ages (?), Giant's Belt (?), and the spear which gives you a buttload of mana, plus furious blade as my favor item. Rook became faster than UB with 10k HP, 6k mana, insane hp regen and lifesteal, 600-800 dmg per cleaving hit, with a chance to do 1700 cleaving damage, and with the furious blade stacking on the Ash, his attack speed became roughly a quarter of a second. Granted this

Nope, this happens when UB levels quickly and spends tons at the artifact shop, AI Reg abuses this to. Then again every once in a while I can do a similar thing with Rook if I can get that insane cash flow. (1500000+ damage in one game, several thousand grunts, a few dozen kills) It's not really an issue with demigod balance as much as it is one guy buying out the artifact shop. EDIT: forgot to mention you can do this with TB too
I tend to play Rook in a similar fashion but instead of getting armor early on I invest in the gold upgrades at Cit and save for Bulwark of Ages and Belt of Giants, the cleave ability makes Rook dominate the creep/minions.
It depends on the circumstances, but the two who make me QQ most often are Beast and Reg. Both of them can become wickedly overpowered with artifacts, recently I saw a hard AI Reg go to town with an attack delay of less than half a second, 400 dmg per shot vs me, a high armored Rook, and movement speed faster than the reinforcement angels. He also had an insane hp/second and around 8600 hp.
I'm not sure it is based on the tower skill, as with tower lvl 2 my towers managed to be summoned at around 4500 health. I think the citadel upgrades may affect them a tiny bit, but not enough to buff Rook's towers to broken-ness. PS: Rook was lvl 16
Favor items are a nice addition IMO, it lets people tweak their demigod to their playstyle, and favor items can only really get overpowered in the extreme cases where someone accrues enough gold to buy a ton of artifacts, i.e domination games with max points. I did this for fun and while yes I combined Furious Blade with the Belt of Giants to turn my Rook into an absolute monster, it took me two hours to finish this match and I hd also aqquired enough cash for deathbringer, allfather ri
Dang, well I'll keep that in mind for the future, already uninstalled and am reinstaling DG.
No, it still bugs me to update whenever I hit multiplayer, depsite letting Impulse check for updates for 30 mins.
Same issue here, mine updated the day I installed but it seems it has rolled back to 1.00 and no matter how long I wait for the patch it never re-updates. I'm gonna try a fresh install and see if that fixes anything.
Sadly, this problem happens to me too and I cannot find a way to fix it! I've tried setting settings down to lowest, but it still gets the 10 second fits of super lag/fuzzy sound. My system is fairly good, can run this game at highest with ease and runs far more demanding games. Vista Intel Core 2 Duo @ 2.5Ghz each Nvidia GEForce 8800GTM 256mb 4 GB RAM I am glad I'm not the only one with this problem, but a fix
