[quote who="InfiniteVengeance" reply="9" id="2256801"] You can see the death timer because your team "saw" the enemy DG die. All quantities are known so there is no reason not to do the math and display the timer. Not if you killed them in the fog with snipe of fireball or who knows what else. and as Tdude says you always know when they lock it because locks appear even through the fog. So it is a completely known fact, just like deaths and respawn, that shoul
[quote who="InfiniteVengeance" reply="21" id="2256438"]You can see the death timer - why not a lock timer. Seriously, if the death timer wasn't in the game would people be arguing AGAINST it? [quote who="InfiniteVengeance" reply="1" id="2254886"] About showing enemy items on the screen though...who the heck is asking for this and why? Thats kinda supposed to be a secret. I don't understand - why? Other games (Dota) do this and it's worked wonderfully for years upon years. In normal Wacraft 3 you can see what items the enemy hero is packing. (So you know if they can TP or have a potion or what have you) It doesn't change balance - things become a bi
while were adding health bars to the side *hijacks thread* can we make it possible to use abilities on allies by clicking on them? So I can see my allies health dropping then click 'shield' on their bar to save them?
I agree, there is a time and a place for priets, buying them at the correct time can net you some of the more lightly defended 'enemy' flags and give you the war score buff you need to win. If you want to break down towers early then priests are for you. but as said if both sides are just farming creeps, then obviously giving the enemy more valuable creeps= lose.

What about an are you sure box on selection? It just seems easier.
Just had my first 'perfect' game of demigod. EU 3v3 cateract I'd been having issues connecting to the online system (it took ages) these are gone. We all had great ping, managed to connect to each other and the game had 0 lag. and on the plus We beat a team with reg unclean beast and tower rook and we had none of them woo! (torchy, oak (me) and sedna, so its not like we were 3 QOT) I hope everyone else is having a good post patch experience...&n

I think Gas powerd have learned from their mistakes, and the rate of improvement I am seeing in connectivity means that I am inclined to stick with them. Its just frustrating, this game would have so much more depth (ut already has a lot) if they could finish connection and performance issues and get round to gameplay balance! Good luck stardock, demigod will be a heavyweight game if you can just get it working! Simple mechanics, fast action and a

This forum is really embarassing, compared to pretty much all the other forums I've been in (im not really a big blizzard forum goer, I've heard they are bad also.) Don't say it's a large community thing. TF2's forum is much nicer than this and the community is HUGE. lots of people need to grow the heck up around here.
Most of the people arguing for this say it worked in DOTA. From what I hear on the 'nice communities thread' the DOTA community are a bunch of talentless dolts; who have less social ability than a dung beetle with chronic halitosis. Maybe they need a ban list. Coming from the SOASE community, which as Frogboy noted is nice, this should be unneccesary. Before we decide we need a banlist can we have a go at being a nice community that doesnt need one plz. There is never a good reaso
seriously, ever heard of 'the tyranny of the majority'? At current thats all your banlist is, a place for large groups of people to destroy the reputations of smaller groups at will.

You do realise that nobody is going to take your argument seriously OP. You need to remove emotion from a logical argument,; no matter how good your maths is, calling people mentally retarded implies a subjective approach on your part one that lets personal feelings get in the way of the numbers. You douche.
