I personally cant imagine not having snipe I with reg, as well as motb actually, since otherwise you are stuck w/o a strong slow until level 10. Angelic fury also pairs up much better than stats with late game +attack speed items, as well as giving you more mana efficient aoe farming than mines. TB's been said. frost nova is easily stronger than stats. For sedna, yeah definately want pounce before inner grace, and you should mention that counter healing is situational. It IS p

I really dont want to sound like an ass here, and i probably am, but this is essentially just generic oak assassin with your play style adjusted to the cloak of night as opposed to the early - mid game tankiness of a botf. People should also consider picking up the scaled helm and scale mail on your first trip back if you cant afford the 1500g + items yet, as you lose a rather paltry amount of gold upgrading them, for a more immediate boost. You also mention in your mid - late
Some maps have towers close to flags. Zikurat and mandala come to mind.
This has been discussed quite a bit already, and probably will see a change eventually. As for him using wand of speed to run away in 2v1 situations... that's just smart play that any demigod and player can do.
The spit is alot weaker then the queens attacks so .. its fine. The oak on the other hand.. should not be able to attack buildings while dead.
You realise spit just does as much damage as uproot, unless the queen has compost, and it's on a much shorter cooldown.
I would say it's more valuable to have the hp/s or mp/s at the start, as in the early game there are always towers nearby to run to. As long as you dont try and duke it out for too long it's easy to reach tower cover. Personally ill usually go with a scaled helm and teleport scroll, maybe a health potion as well.
Dawn of victory would definately need a higher mp/s. Too easy to just leave it at level 1 w/ a vlemish face guard, and then be invincible for all time, and eventually level it up when / if you get more mps. Also, you could use this w/ devotion of the champion (to make it practical) for unstoppable damage essentially, like an oak last stand suiciding on buildings.
The risk for changing mode in mid battle are greater than the reward imo. Not worth it. Too many things could happen while you slowly transform for a full one~two second of vulnerability. The only reason for dual element I see is to increase fireball damage on that lv15 skill, and nothing else.
Only if you are charging around solo or some such. If you stick with other players, it's pretty easy to trail in behind
It would be better if you DID use rain of ice to open on DG's actually... keep in mind the attack speed debuff it has, since you are going to have to get at least within TB's auto attack range for fire nova, and it'd be a good idea if whoever decided to start smacking you smacks you slower.
I've seen a number of TBs kill other DGs very effectively with ice storm/flip/fireball. That's a great finishing set, if they are running. The only longer ranged one, is Regulus' snipe. The maxed ice storm does 800 I think, but it also slows them considerably, -40% for a few seconds, long enough to switch and then get the fireball off, for up to 1050 (or 1350, if you've got the combined ability), or 1850 damage, and if you have t
Not really, if you use ice nova correctly. Use it BEFORE they are right on top of you, it does have the same range as fire nova, which is your auto attack range. It's not small. Start casting it early and start kiting. Auto attack only if they start going for something else and just keep moving in general. Same should be said of fire though really, cast fire circle early and start kiting if they come after you.
I never thought about actually using the magus rod before, and i might actually think about using it over the HoL when there's a UB on the enemy team, so that i dont necessarily have to carry restoration scrolls for getting rid of plague when i need mana. Also, people seem to never mention rain of ice attack speed debuff, just like people dont mention it on UB's ooze. The debuff is HUGE. 10% per level of the skill. Really useful for supporting team mates, just keep your
FROGBOY, your too confident in the balance of your game, I suggest you look over Erebus; And god forbid, SERIOUSLY, make it so UB spit doesnt work on buildings, it is simply retarded!
Stardock has nothing to do with game balance. Stardock is the publisher in this case, and GPG is the developer.
I cant personally think of a way to really counter all 3 of them in a direct fight with your team... your only interupt is penitence, you have no REAL stuns, and heal is really too fast of a cast to catch without some luck. Prison also doesnt really let you avoid them at all either. If all 3 grabbed warlord punishers and blasted the same sedna (perhaps getting the other as well) that's 1200 mana gone. That might get you some breathing room. Also, having your queen go for ground spikes
You can practice in skirmishes just fine if you set your AI's to the same setting as the other teams. It's only in the SP tourny where your ai's are gimped in harder settings. Your teams hard AI's are no worse than the other teams. I've done some SP skirmishes where my AI's hit level 20 with the other teams sitting at 16 - 18, except for the early game i could pretty much sit back and do nothing. And then i've had sp games where my ai was a couple levels behind and i had to work the e

Auto attacks dont hit for more than like 200ish (someone correct me on this with math if they want, i dont want to do it) with any DG at lvl 1, and you'd need mard's hammer and probably the cheapest gloves to do that after armor. For UB, spit would have done 200 damage in 3 seconds, and (ignoring the time it would have taken to use spit) gotten in 4 attacks. That's about 1000 damage. not nearly enough to kill any demigod. In 5 seconds + time to spit, it's possible to ki
The second favor item on the list gives you the same stats as the banded armor, as well as -10% death penalty. He could have had that, scaled armor, and the 2 health pots. It would help if you could remember whether he was hitting harder than you were.
It depends on how you play, the % attack speed can be really good if you're not completely focusing on using special attacks. I tend to rank up the assassin's stats skill more than the general's though.
That, and the general's stat upgrade only boosts your minions, not the DG itself. The stat upgrade on the assassins is a good place to put extra points if there are no other skills you want, or it's easy to
