umm i cant say im likeing the idea of scaling minions with your items too... i mean if i to go super assassin build with lots of armor/health/damage... my minions would also be super beastly. i think that would make us a tad bit overpowered

I like it, actually to be truthful i wish we could slightly customize our demigods... perhaps choose the color of our demigods or at least choose from some predetermined color choices. just to mix things up a tad bit =]
Good point Chaosbrynn. we do have a great potential with our minions (and i do use the minion method more then the assassin general method and i think im getting good with them =]) but the point is i get harrased so much when i use a general as what i want him to be that game then i should. honestly i have had people call me a "cheater" a "cheap" player. others have said i dont follow the rules, that i shouldnt be allowed to play a general this way. its all options folks... i have no idea whe
Oh so let me get this right you cant use assassins to support minons and creeps? sure you cant make your own but just like a general in an assassin build you wont have ALL the options an assassin has. if you want to play an assassin as a general. invest in any skills that support units, upgrade creep at anytime you can. fight ONLY with creep by your side which you should be protecting / buffing. You will not be able to create your own minions. but that does not stop you from helping what unit

But when you look at it Generals do have a way to play as an assassin... but are they flexible at it? they have a abilities that dont concern minons at all but not all of there moves are that way. They have the ability but its more of a stright forward lock twords what abilities and how you will play. On the other hand assassins each have different ways that they can go about doing there business. Mine Reg? snipe reg? Dps reg? Shatter TB? Fire TB? Form dancing TB? Anti
Hi guys, Ok my idea is pretty simple i do believe. Create a contest where the winner gets their dream Demigod created. not sure how the contest would work. Perhaps you sign up to join a tournament. Or you could have it so you must design your Demigod before hand and they one picked by popular demand is created. I just like this idea as it would give many people the feel of being able to effect the game. Adds Additional Demigods which i think we would all like. and mayb
But they are different... how many tank Sedna have you seen? or full support rooks? sure you can make them and you might have seen them but that to me is part of the beauty in the game... pick a demigod you connect with and make it your own. I personaly love the Oak and his story he is truely dedicated to his cause that he wouldnt die... he commanded such respect that simply asking the dead to rise and fight by his side was enough to cause spirits to rise up and join him. Ok guys i gave my perspectives... They are just demigods they can be used however you want to use them for some reason im tired of trying to defend them from the stacking number of QQ posts that i have been seeing about how they need to be "fixed" or how using a general the way you want is "cheating" or that is not how they were "meant" to be played. Umm what does "meant to be played" mean? i always thought they emphasized how much you could customize the demigods however you wanted to... does that mean if we want to make a powerhouse general that wasnt how it was supposed to work?

You kno you can also take the the opposite look at it.While im standing in the front line with my oak making more minions. someone can stand out in the fog of war creating Yeti and idol minons and sending them in all at once. I kno quite a few people who use that tactic and end up being very hard to kill since they never having to run into the fray if they do not want to while reanimating the dead requires you to be up close at least part of the time. not trying to downplay your
I dont have any suggestions at the moment. But i do like how you are thinking. I have heard complaints of no stratagy in the game but there are plenty of lil things that can be discovered to add up to truely mastering the game. good work =]
hmm well to start with i kno oaks summons are weaker then lets say Sedna. And i will say that Queen of Thorns can use her summons as mini potions on the go which makes them a bit different from other summons who just fight until they die. (even tho some give bonuses like oak gets more power from his summons if he has the ability) on a side note there special summons all serve a different purpose but they ALL have idol summons that are equal to all of them. Hmm interesting question. i would have to pick some multiplayer games with lots of replay value. Halo 3: odst (my action game with high replay) Demigod (it can go from action rpg, to semi rts with generals. new maps and characters im assuming add to replay) City Of hero (and gotta throw in a MMO to eat up all my extra time =] )

Im not sure i would like to see a change. i dont see a problem in useing a general as an assassin. i personaly like to use oak as a supporting assassin. debuffing when i get the chance and then going in for a kill. and i only use summons to boost my own power. But i dont believe that they are too much like assassins (or assassins with idols) because you do have to buy idols or put skill points into minons, while assassins are building up with whatever they do best. I completly agree. I have a mouse wheel now of course. But i remember how frusterating it is to play games without one. And im sure i will play this game at least a few times on my laptop and i dont always remember to bring my usb mouse with me which means no wheel =[ All in all i just think this would be a very minor change that can possibly help anyone with no real concerns to those that have a mouse wheel.
