Your first new Demigod HAS to be a Pirate, it just has to be. Think of the glorious irony! I'm sure you'd also make some press and create some internet buzz if you did something so ingenious .. nothing but good things can come of it. Do it. Do it. Do it.
maybe the devs should change the demigod/model to a male king of thorns, his junk can also be covered by vines. would that be more acceptable? everyone is allowed an opinion, not wise to express said opinion if you aren't willing to take the backlash though.
I also think Regulus should wear a sweater. You could grate cheese on those sexually-charged abs.
I want to play an entertaining, well-made fantasy game. I don't want to pay $40 just to watch the QoT's breasts bouncing around. Just the fact that you're all so defensive of the QoT proves to me that you feel an attraction to the minor sexual element of the game. One of you pretty much said he would advocate full nudity in every area of life! A similar uproar arose when someone suggested removing the "mild language" (ESRB term) from the Marza dialogue in Sins of a Solar Empire.</p
Also unrelated to minions but something that should be addressed is that item shops need a way to make a favorites list for each demigod you play so in the middle of battle you can just run to the shop, click on your favorites list, and then click to purchase the items you usually get without the hassle of having to go through and find and make sure you have the money for the ones you are looking for.
That's a great idea. :)

I'm really bummed to hear that it's an engine limitation that prevents any sort of tiered environments. The flat maps really are a drag, and I'm surprised the engine was originally developed like that. Rolling hills with streams, rocks you can punch through to carve new paths, and forests to crush or burn or freeze would have been just plain awesome. Maybe in the future we can look forward to some indoor invironments, with heavy wooden doors to batter down, long hall

I'd personally like to be able to hotkey buildings or units to select them. CTRL-1 targets Item Shop, F1 for teleport, poof I'm there. CTRL-2 targets "Bob the Rook", 3 cast Fireball, boom. Maybe it's a skill I need to develop but it's so clunky trying to zoom out, scroll to your base, hit F1, and try to click the tiny little item shop correctly.

Just avert your gaze from the offending boobies to the rampant violence going on on the rest of the map. This includes a human torch setting people on fire, mutant dogs made out of flesh exploding into green virulent gore, and thousands upon thousands of creeps running perpetually toward their death. This has GOT to be a troll topic, right? I can't believe there's not one, but two people in this thread that are actually, honest to God, offended by a female in a bikini.&nbs

I'm still pretty upset about the quality of this game for the price I paid, but you guys really do seem to be standing behind the good AND bad of it. I like that, and I'm really hoping you guys pull off some amazing stuff over the coming months. Suggestions: After you stabilize the online gameplay, I think you really need to take a look at the game's UI and update it. The multiplayer menus definitely need some upgrading, as well as the actual information that's displ
Really? So when you are still playing WoW with its mirrored characters and look to see ALL THE CONTENT for its games even WoW... are player given content, maps and/or add-ons and looks to see WoW's suscriber count *11million* times that by the monthly cost to play.. *15.99* and see they are making $175,890,000 a month to give nothing back towards the players, towards content, cost etc..... You still want to support them? I've seen more posts by Dev's here then
I feel I should add my voice, I am one of the 'evil' pirates who stole the game (25 year-old programmer, for those questioning my maturity), because I am sick of the shoddy quality of games at release, both technically and in terms of gameplay. I wont buy a game I have not tried or had a friend recommend to me, and there was no demo for Demigod. So to the dark ship it was, and if it wasnt for them there would be two less Demigod

I didn't ask for 90+ characters... But eight characters and less than a dozen uninspired geometric maps is a little paltry for the price, don't you think? I mean, this is the ONLY thing this game has, so I'm expecting it to wow me. Do you realize that any of the maps would take a 3D modeler about 3 hours to build and texture from scratch? I was a little harsh calling it shareware junk -- it's a fun game -- but honestly, $19.99 is a fair price. If you don't thin

You know, I'll be honest, I pirate a lot of games off Demonoid and usually buy the ones that really impress me. Unfortunately in this day and age, there aren't many impressive games out there. This was the first game in a LONG time that I've straight-out bought on release. I knew they were a small company and I figured they could use the help. The trailers made the game look really enjoyable and I'm a big fan of DotA. Well, as I should have expected, th
