[quote who="JagerJack" reply="9" id="2286962"]Quoting InfiniteVengeance, reply 6 Now this is assuming I understand this correctly: Lets say your base speed is 6.3. 6.3 * 0.66= 4.158. Assuming that the game rounds it to 4.2, your speed can't go below that. But 50% of 6.3 is 3.15. Since your speed can't go below 4.2, Mark of the betrayer wouldn't go that far if you've haven't done anything to increase your speed. So you're right, in a way they did nerf it,

The host disconnect bug is known and hopefully worked on. Nothing to get upset about though, the current ranking system says almost nothing about skill, which really sucks. There are countless threads about it. As long as the ranking system isn't representing skill, i couldn't care less about stat exploits. p.s.: give us team pantheon and a decent ELO ranking system!
Thanks Ezze, every dg player should be forced to read this guide before playing a single game.
i also consider the ladder pretty useless as it is. also see http://forums.demigodthegame.com/357580
i partly agree with op. it helps to sort out the real bad noobs though that join "pro" games (i really don't get why, but it happens a lot). if he has 20 games played and won 3 of them, it's a kick. Wether you're #1or #200 on the ladder doesn't say a thing about skill. for the premade part, i fully agree that we NEED a team pantheon. it's much more fun to play premade vs premade than randoms vs randoms, not even speaking of premade vs randoms as this is mostly boring slaughter. 1. In a game with randoms, one bad player is enough to ruin the game. it's almost impossible to achieve favor points if the other team is fed to unbeatable. 2. In a team game, a supporting character, espacially QoT even if securing the victory will almost never get many favor points, as it is so much easier to stack kills with reg, UB or TB. kills mean gold, means citadel upgrades, better items etc. Maybe by evening out kills and assist a bit, and counting heals and shields as assists
concede is great. you can never stop people from leaving, but now you don't have to bother with stupid ai only games anymore.

lol, ok, i really got the math wrong. stupid me. experience shows though that most games when exp 1 and currency 1 are bought early ends in a win with approximately equal teams. "Regulas and UB should NEVER be paying for upgrades, because it's too important for your team to get the buff as fast as possible." Regulas as mine/snipe build with faceplate+crown+hauberg of life is pretty cheap and effective till late game when he needs damage items and till then the u
and the first one is correct? in that case i don't get it, please elaborate not cumulative pls.
I see a lot of people, espacially new players not buying citadel upgrades. This is a little annoying if you have to do it all alone. Here's a lil math for all the "But i have to save for my super awesome 18k weapon!"-guys. Buy at least the currency upgrades, it will help you and your team. 1. Upgrade: 1800. One gold per second = 1800 seconds = 3 Minutes. That means it pays for a 3v3 team after one minute, for yourself after 3 minutes. (alive time, yeah, you don't get gol
excellent noob guide. another tip: don't go for enemy towers early alone. you'll be screwed.
thanks, that worked
