One thing to make a note of, if you are using XP, the native refresh rate is usually set to 60Mhz if you switch resolutions if you have not set that in your display properties. So... if you pick that resolution in game but choose a higher refresh rate, you can experience tearing. Not sure of your situation, but one thing you can try is... when you are at your dekstop, change to the resoultion you play DG at and pick set the monitor refresh rate in advanced properties. Make sure it mat
LORD-ORION
This thread is in the wrong forum. QoT is fine. QoT has the most staying power in the game when played right (as in using shield right keeps you from having to leave the lane). Shield is proactive. (As in you and your team-mates can have shield on going into battle, which will usually turn the outcome of the battle every single time). QoT can do insane damage with the proper build. eg: Max shield, G spike, S wave, morale and have all 3 minion idols. Please n
Are you oblivious to what that term means in video game jargon or just pretending to be?
It is inevitable, anything that can be construed sexually will be. :) Though I am wondering if the originators did this intentionally to easily identify and thus weed out the rabble. Average deaths/kills in the first 15 minutes of all games would tell you everything you need to know. Stats be damned.
You have to kill to get the effect.... like all other knock aways. eg: Use Divine might, kill the archers standing close to the priests, the priests will go flying.
New content is always great! For certain this kind of commitment makes me want to continue giving my business to the companies responsible. Thanks! You rock Star Dock! Which means Frogboy also rocks by default. :D As for ban lists, I think the best way is a simple "/ban username" like squelchThe ban list should also be a text file so you can simply add the username into it manually while offline etc... For consensus of ranked games... please just track all stats separately. Wo
Best combos is beast and QoT :D
LOL Obscenitor, I've played enough Pantheon games with you to know that shouting "Here is a friendly hint to avoid dying, stop standing on the FUCKING fire!" is mostly pointless to my teammates who end up in that situation in the first place. That's not to say you aren't a really good Fire TB (best I've played so far in Pantheon)... but playing TB on forces of light in Pantheon by exploiting a UI bug is cheatXoring.... a little. ;) So here is a set of questions I h
It's the butterfly effect of certain individuals. Take this survey, and figure out what is going to happen. I) You are level 2 Erebus on Cataract Dominate. A level 3 Sedna and Oak are moving into your lane. Your partner, a UB, is on the other side of the map. You should. a] Withdraw, and notify your teamate 2on1 b] Withdraw and say nothing c] Walk up to Sedna, snack her once, turn into mist... AND THEN FUCKING DIE! II) You are a level 3
The only stats that should be shown are average deaths and average kills in the 1st 15 minutes of a game (this would tell you everything about your teamates) and possibly average favor per game. Since I know you won't do this.... ;) Stats should be split apart for skirmish/pantheon There are many Pantheon only players that are much better than their stats show simply because they are Pantheon only players. Having said that... Want
I play QoT the most. Shamblers are the worst minion in the game. (You can argue for Yetis I guess) Trying Spike +Shield + Shamblers is more bad, as you will never have enough mana to be effective against someone who is good. If you want to use shamblers, try staying in closed mode the entire game and concentrating on life and speed + have basic mana regen to use shields so you have staying power. Shamblers IV is a waste of a point. If you lose 4 shamblers at once,
Heh, yeah Foreshadowed goes a little overboard sometimes... but he is usually right and is a good player. If you can ignore the UR BAD signature remarks, you can glean useful information from him. Where he fails is treating new people... I'm not saying put the kid golves on, but he needs to be a little bit more constructive. Maybe one day he'll start doing the combo of being a dick while teaching at the same time instead of just being a dick.
commie military science? k lemme revise what I said ur bad
You didn't comment on the second QoT build.
your minion build is too weak to win
Bah, you take all the fun and creativity out of DG with your commie military science. You're right Frogboy, clan support would be better for DG right now then modding. This is not to say that mod support isn't important, but sorting out the community will make DG grow more. You know what else would be cool? A hardcore game mode where multiple demigods cannot exist, and only 1 of each item can be in play at any time except consumables (1st come, first served by the shop).
It's true, demigod is so awesome that everything in the vicinity ignites. OK that wasn't helpful, but try this. Get a CPU temperature monitor like Speedfan (I think it supports Dell). After the crash turn the computer back on and do nothing but monitor the temp. Check if the CPU heat keeps increasing while at idle. If it does, yeah it's an overheat because the fan isn't disapating the residual heat quickly enough away from the CPU. If not, it could be a bad power
QoT problems: Full minion build - you wont be able to get any kills, enemy can run away, shamblers can't attack running demigod, even with boots of speed + swift anklet + wand of speed. QoT's own damage will be poor. When chasing an enemy demigod, QoT often attacks another target, even if you spam click on required target. No interrupt. Enemy will ALWAYS have the option of teleporting or using a potion. The only viable build (shield +
Here is how I play my QoT, she is just as capable as any other DG when played properly. 1st 10 levels Bramble Shield Ground Spikes Spike Wave After 10 it depends on the game, but it's usually either Uproot if there are lots of towers left, or Morale. Favor is always swift anklet. QoT is probably the viable case study for this item since when you play her right she is rarely taking direct hit points to a point of endangerment. Infact, yo
I think the Sedna should have bought Gold 1 at warscore 3. For certain I would have bought it, and should be close to breaking even now on the 1800 investment? (we can pretend since I am ahead in warscore I owned the goldmine longer too). I am also very tempted to buy priests + smith and armory level 1, because losing the center towers on crucible almost ensures you can never cap all the flags with no open space to teleport to. (I would have noticed her towers aren't
I'd say for a DG build that is effective at not taking damage, swift is a viable choice. When it comes to having to fight it out directly, life is the best option.
Pain in the neck Erebus minion build Been playing this build with good results online now, and it is also exceptionally wonderful against DGs with poor anti-creep abilities. (Sedna) As always, basic tactics won't be discussed, just an overview on the build and some generalities of ideas to try. You are in for a bit of a rough start, but you can get to level 2 without dying if you are even a little bit skilled. :) So why this build? A mob of developed nightcrawl
Say "good-bye" to Tower Farm complaints.
Right... because with 2 points in hammer slam after you go early priests against a tower rook, the rook is outleveling you and you have a new problem.
To beat nightmare AI simply kill the wounded at your towers, the AI is pretty dumb still. If you play normally (farm etc...) you are eventually going to be out-leveled and out-itemed by the AI, and then no amount of AI stupidity is going to help you. You can also try taking brillant bauble and buying the EXP citadel upgrade to outlevel the AI. (as long as you keep killing the wounded AI at your towers) It's not really good practice because what works in nightmare does not help
shamblers are bad
Yeah, but for a minion build with QoT they are all you get to work with. I find if you can get into position and make the enemy come to you, then most of the problems that make shamblers bad (pathing, targeting) are mitigated. It's when you move your army to attack someone that you really start to see the problems that make a pure QoT minion build noticeably less effective than other QoT builds or general
