I made an Assassin Oak guide , if you can please include that.
Waiting for Nimoth until you've gotten both Vlemish and Plenor is something I usually only can afford against newbies and bots. Especially Erebus and UB forces me to pretty much go for Nimoth before either of them. At what level do you usually find yourself buying it, and do you use Shield during battles to make up for the loss of both extra armor and no HP favor?
I usually get Nimoth at about Level 7, but after further playing, I can see the purpose of getting Nimoth b
On a similar note, here's something for everyone to enjoy.
Zamzoph, when you're done putting words in my mouth, perhaps we can have a legitimate conversation.

All of the great successes in my life can be directly attributed to the number of noobs I've smashed. There simply is no greater achievement possible. It feels SO AWESOME. I can walk into a bar now brimming with confidence and pick up any chick I want because of my 183 game win streak. Seriously man I've had more threesome
Defeats the point, I refuse to play with randoms in any game 99% of the time.
99% of the time? Even if both sides are on par with eachother or, better yet, clearly to the advantage of your side? Now what's your reasoning for that?
Because we derive greater satisfaction working with each other instead of against. The game rewards good teamwork, we've simply taken it to the next level.
It sounds like you might as well be s
A. We do when we can. B. Because we like playing and working with, not against, each other.
If you claim to do when you can, it certainly doesn't seem to show it on your gamelist where the vast majority of your played matches are obviously hosted by you. More importantly, though, why exactly is it that you don't want to play against eachother? It's rather counterproductive to your goal of getting a challen
Question I have yet to see discussed: If premade teams truly desire to have competitive matches and not rofl stomps, why dont they either... A: join other matches so that they will likely be put up against another premade, rather than hosting their own all the time? B: split up their little friend group as evenly as possible between both Light and Dark teams? For example, a four-man premade can just as well do a 2v2 match all on their own.

I'm not sure about you guys... but I can't even make my own new post now because I'm not given proper categories. It seems like all I can do is reply. This really sucks, considering I have something big to post :(
and no Sedna isnt the best for 1v1 matches. QoT minion build is. QoT minion build is in my opinion unbeatable, Ground Spike is devastating.
An interesting counterargument... I'm assuming that your idea of this QoT minion build is one that prioritizes Summon Shambler, Bramble Shield, Ground Spikes, and Mulch Shamble, along with having a full set of at least basic minions. While a late game version of this will surely outmat
Ever since playing against Antiock, currently the top ranking player in Demigod, in a pre-1.1 Crucible match a couple of weeks ago, I've been rather curious about his habit of hosting 1v1 matches as Sedna, either on Crucible or Prison. After putting a little bit of thought into it, as well as hosting a couple matches of similar conditions out, myself, I've come up with a theory that Antiock does this because he's guaranteed to win since Sedna is THE best demigod for 1v1 matches, hence
Who cares now. Damn dow2 1.4 looks good. They really shaken things up!
Oh snap, now that's a big update there [e digicons]8|[/e] Looks like I might actually hafta get myself up to snuff in that. Can't say my experience with Trueskill matching is very good last time I played a couple of months ago, though, getting only matched up with people 30+ levels over me.
For the benefit of premade teams who wish to find other such groups to arrange matches with (as well as those who wish to avoid that sort of competition), here is a list of known premade teams. This list is mainly focused on the US region and will expand as more are found. Zamzoph -- <a id="ctl00_ContentPlaceHolder1__GamePlayersList_ctl02__Pl
The game isn't slow. WC3 and DotA are just fast. If you want things faster, just host your own match and change the game speed option, but good luck getting people who would want to play that. Also, if you're playing with just one hand, you're not being very effective. You need those ability and item hotkeys, and camera movement is done more easily with the keyboard hand, too.
There's this one person I played against last night that I've been thinking a lot about since. Although the match itself was 1v1, I feel like this is somewhat of a similar issue as premades, so I'll just explain it here rather than making a whole new topic. I'll avoid using any specific names, as I don't want to be that guy who calls people out on the forums. So anyway, I saw this person hosting a 1v1 on Crucible. Now curious, I immediately looked up t
As already stated, the obvious solution to your problem is not to play Pantheon. Stardock has already confirmed that it is a major issue that needs top priority in fixing. Some other points, though: 1) From what I can tell, Pantheon bots such as Nacer and Hintani are supposed to be there to fill in spots if the Pantheon matchmaker isn't getting the job done. They are even labelled as AI in the tab stats. Although I would agree that filler bots need to
Shield without Heart I find far too situational for it to be a main part of a build.
I highly disagree. Even without the Heart, Shield III is extremely effective in not only saving your life, but also the lives of your teammates, no matter what opponent your facing. I'm thinking about making a guide for my Oak build that, among other things, puts getting Shield III at top priority, although I'm waiting
I have suggested this several times, and yes, there is a simple solution to this issue. In Pantheon/Skirmish, the players you are connecting to should just have their names as "Player 1" "Player 2" "Player 3" "Player 4" etc etc. People will not be able to tell who they are playing with, until the game has actually begun.
That won't solve anything. A premade guy will just quit
This does indeed sound like it can be pretty exploitable for an Erebus player if the situation presents itself, especially since his resulting death will leave a new poison potion for him to do the same thing again. Along the same lines, though, I think there's also a bit of an issue with an ooze Unclean Beast being able to deny his opposition gold from what would be a sure kill by committing suicide via ooze leaking, which offers no gold reward to anyone. It may not be
I'd be concerned if Reg or UB had this advantage, but it's hardly a problem on a character who's constantly in the middle of the tier listing.
With a Warpstone, they can. Any General can also do it, right at the start, even, if they get the Cloak of Night favor item. I don't have any problem with this as it opens up alternate routes rather than going through the single-lane nightmare.
4 players on a 10 player map!
Actually, I find Zikurat to be pretty functional as a 2v2 map, taking even less time to get around than on Leviathan. And if you're trying to alt-tab out of the game to mess with other applications and such, I recommend you try playing in windowed mode, which works very well for that purpose.
Oak is my favorite DG because I can both never die AND get kills without much trouble :D I'm considering writing a guide since it seems like none of the existing ones for Oak are much like what I do.
