The OP makes a valid point about a security flaw. This should be discussed and the impact should be evaluated. Unfortunately this seems impossible in this forum :(

The stats site looks pretty nice, and I'm looking forward to them. I just wanted to tell you that I think it is absolutely important to have a "public api", which seems to be planned :). Do not underestimate the power of community driven "mashup" websites when you povide the data. Keep it going!
