I want to hear some strategies or theories on how people save and spend their gold, and what on. We all do something with our first 1000g, buying some of the minor bonus items to get ready for first few battles. But what about after that? How much gold do you save up before heading back to town? What do you buy? Do you go back every time you have enough to buy the next item on your list? Do you have a list of item progression? Or do you jsut kind of go with the flow of
I agree with many of your strategies, I have indeed found anything beyond the first level of mass charm completely useless, as it's only used to stop a tele-scroll or a slow attack. I feel mana is just a little to vulnerable to Mist before you have some good mana items, and so I usually don't get mist until Level 6 and general only really start using it at level 8 with Mist II. I save my mana for bite and 1v1 confrontations. Past that, it's a bonified killer, and a ski

I think an important fact to remember is that most people, including myself, call other characters overpowered if they have a hard time dealing with 1v1, which is not everything this game is balanced around (although it is a major component). I for one think UB's spit should have melee range, which would eliminate all the kills he gets from getting in range while you're running away and spitting. Otherwise I feel the combo of Spit / Foul Grasp / Spit does too much damage in a short pe
The two worst characters for Erebus to face (at least for me) are Sedna and UB. Sedna has a nuke that does more damage then Erebus and she heals herself faster, she can be a tough battle for Erebus is she takes a healing route early in the game. UB is pretty scary too, Spit then foul grasp then spit again and your basically dead. I try to be very wary around him. Erebus has a pretty good bag of tools that allows him to deal with a lot of situations, and the strength re

You are aware that Erebus lacks the ability to actually win any games, as he can't really kill a citadel(weak attacks, and squishy nature, as well as having no skills to actually hurt it with, mean that his anti-citadel abilities are pitiful at best). Erebus needs allies if he wants to win. Sure, he's probably over
