I'll admit I was starting to lose faith, but my faith in SD and GPG has been restored. Definitely looking forward to the patch. Hopefully it will fix more connectivity issues so we can get bigger pantheon games.

Happy people don't troll on forums, they play the game. Of course 90% of feedback will be negative. I for one have been enjoying the updates and they have brought me back to demigod after not playing it at launch for 2months. But the truth is the game is still unpolished. Keep up the good work SD/GPG. Don't waste all that effort because of trolls.

Communists/Socialists keep talking about greed in reference to capitalism. However they fail to realize that greed is a natural human tendency. You will always want more than less, its just given. Capitalism is a system that takes that instintual greed and uses it to create social benefit through the creation of sustainable business and the destruction of unsustainable business. Greed is the desire to posses more than what you deserve. By this barometer socialists are also greedy beca

CocaColaAddict, I'm sorry but this display of wussiness has gone on long enough, I'm going to have to confiscate your man card.

Lame thread is lame. If you're gonna be so whiny about playing public games then find a clan or group of friends to play with. Don't ruin the game with blacklists.

Keeping witth the gum analogy: you need gum to survive. (Corporations need employees to function, and the competent ones (aka the ones that stay in business) do not hire more than they need.) If you need the gum to survive, you will buy however much you need (say, 10 sticks) and save the rest. If the government raises the price by 2x, you would grumble about it, but you will still buy what you need. The gum analogy will fail with this argument so I will go

For Scoutdog: Higher minimum wage increases unemployment. How? People won't get higher minimum wages if they aren't working. Higher minimum wage requires employers to pay more per employee so they can hire less people overall. Think of it this way, you can buy 10 sticks of gum for $10. But now the government steps in and says gum should be $2.00 since thats only fair to the hard worki

Socialism is plain wrong. I actually have trouble seeing how anyone could support it. I'm a Canadian so I am bombarded by socialist ideals on a daily basis. Socialism is wrong for many reasons. It creates a race to the bottom. It may attempt to redistribute wealth equally amongst the people, but it unequally distributes power into the hands of the government. It creates the conditions for government corruption. It slows the economy through over-regulation which raises too many barrier

So you died in the first 5 minutes. Youre all lower level than your opponents, you have less gold and no map control. This is a situation I find myself in every few games. The problem I have with this is that my team never seems to be able to come back from it. What are some things a losing team can do to turn the tide of battle and take the fight to the enemy? I imagine it would involve avoiding confrontations with other DGs since they're more powerful at this point or only e

[quote who="lambdaman" reply="22" id="2173051"]Quoting WarlokLord, reply 6+1 . As is surrender, replay or map creation. Why would you need a surrender in Demigod? If you wish to end the game early its easy enough to sacrifice for the good of the enemy. I can understand if you just get into a game and suddenly something in the real world comes up, but beyond that I see a great potential for some to simply utilize this button/feature at the first sign of loss instead of playing it ou
