Pretty much the same problem. Two 8800GT's and I got the game.prefs file from here . Having it or not having it didn't make any difference. I tried all the stuff from this thread to no avail. Not sure what to do... I hope that someone can provide a fix or something. I'll post my DXDiag if someone thinks its necessary, but it says Direct3D is running fine.
