gold farming tips in Demigod Strategies Demigod Forums

I got the game over the weekend and have been playing skirmishes with the AI on highest difficulty trying to learn how to play (normal is way too easy). I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong, but I'm always rediculously behind on gold compared to AI opponents. At the end of a game I look over at the gold column and everyone else has between 1.5x and 2x of what I have. Even with comparable kills, assists and grunts. Is there something I'm missing here that allows the AI to rack up so much gold dur
