An energy rifle would be a better Idea. As far as the shockrod maybe a cone shaped AOE?

In terms of the pistol being too futuristic I can see where you are coming from. Although Regulus does toss landmines. What is a good idea for an alternate futuristic weapon? As part of balancing maybe you should only be able to place it in the vicinity of a flag you control. (Although I did try to balance it in terms of it running out of power and the fact that when you use the teleporter you come out stunned on the other side. Plus it requires some gold to build.) I

I honestly don't see where i was rude or when i said what should happen. This whole thing is an idea. I'm not saying i think it should be made into a demigod for the game I am simply sharing my thoughts. You need to learn some propper etiquette.

Tell me what is actually wrong with my idea. Other than the fact that it isn't fully developed everything is balanced and it's a fresh idea to be brought to the table. Their are other people posting ideas with less thought into them than mine and you are only jumping down my throat. As far as highjacking the thread goes, I dont care.
