This has been mention but they did a study and found the people who think their professional tend to suck more then people who think their average on a stastical scale. The theory goes that being bad at something also prevents you from realizing your bad at something and ironically as you get better you realize your failings and think your worst then when you started. The next point is because they think their awesome no matter how polietely you say "I don't think this is the ga

If a General Demigod is using minion and holding a lane against a Demigod who doesn't use them, the rival demigod gains level faster. Thus in effect taking minions becomes a negative for your team. And no one would use them (Like when the game first came out.)
If anyone cares you can edit the maps now but it's a annoying process requiring the knowledge of hex editor and what not. I'm posting this more so a programmer can kind of figure it out. Okay basically to celebrate modding support and FrogBoy I suggest we do a new demigod in the shape of a Giant Bipedal frog. Cause animating, and coming up with abilties to go with are such a pain when you have to do them for a entire demigod... I'm suggesting that I post a weighted 3dsmax model of the appropiate number of faces and everyone do animation for one abilties, or death, or whatever. The best abilities are then used to make a the demigod. Anyone actually up fo
I wish they left Ring of Might in with no Buff while we wait [e digicons]:([/e]
It may be just the bug but having Sedna two sedna able to regenerate 50% of their health every 8 seconds seem to make them pretty tough. Combined all of the health regeneration Sedna has already makes them quite difficult to kill and would be better then most other demigod parings. (Although you lack of AOE might be a problem)
I know this seem to be a bash Regulus and UB doubles thread. But for me the active abilties aren't so bad it's the passive abilities that get really good in doubles. Double Sedna's with Bishop and High priests and both with healing wind 2 and magnificent presence may not kill noobs at the begining but certainly mid to end is almost unkillable. Also TB Aura's stack as well as his ice abilities so double ice can actually be a surprisingly powerful after mid game if their w

I'm always confused by the fact that if people can point out the exact line in the Lua script where the susposed bug is that it hasn't been fixed by the developement team in any of the patches. Espically since one of the advantages of using StarDock was susposed to be the ability to provide frequent patches.
It works on Auto attack and on Snipe. It's not a bad skills when fighting demigod that are spamming abilities as you can randomly counter abilities with it and technically you have no other counters. If you've got alot of attack speed increasing gear then it makes sense to blow a late point on it. I'd still take a point in stats first.
Epiphenomenon It is difficult and the game needs to be nearly lagless but yes it's just possible to use both hammer and boulder roll in the 3 second for essense of magic give you.
I think you should build for toughness and just accept snares at the begining. If you both take Blood of the Fallen in the early game along with Oak taking armour and Sedna taking priest you will be snared... but if you stick together you should be to tough for them to kill and they'll have to retreat. Snare only work if the person is running away so if your tougher then them it doesn't help much. By the time they come back from the crystal your priest will heal you up and yo
Essence of Magic on the other hand isn't bad for the rook. If your playing towers it gives you a extra 7 mana a second and a free tower ever 45 seconds which can solve alot of early mana problems. Later you can get a free boulder throw and hammer every 45 second which is nice. Unfortantly I still think blood of the fallen is probably a better early game item. I was also unable to get my towers to target very well.
General speaking it's take minions and use horn of blasting as they run against the tower. Nearly any of the general demigods can do it but Oak and Erebus get more minions earlier so you don't have to buy totems. But it you purchase the totems then any general demigod can do it basically from level 1. I think a minionl build for each of the general demigods is below and any of them can use the horn and destory towers quickly and or the citadel.
I know ShakenBake has a good point but can't the same be said for Regulus, Fire TB, Erebus with Pure minions and any demigod or any other demigod that doesn't save their interupt ability.
I rarely have it used on me but Warlord Punisher can really piss me off when I am playing Sedna especially against hit and run demigods like the TB. The damage is slightly annoying but the mana loss basically takes a heal away in the early levels. If you stack it with Staff of Renewal it can make Sedna's at least have to go back to the crystal more often and if they aren't watching their mana carefully then you can kill her.
1.) Most often being lower level is caused by running to get flags too often and thus not killing minions and sticking in big group of demigods. The experience you get from flags while useful is less then you get from minions and all experience is split between the demigods in the area . Try to stay in a lane (Path grunts and easy to kill enemies take) as much as possible. Even if the lane has another demigod in it there is nothing wrong with running in killing minion and running out or waiti
Well if we are going the keep the concept of stacking CD items then definitely buy more trinkets instead of continual items. Sludge Slinger is cheap and reduce damage by 30 percent from auto attacks. Wand of Speed instead of Boots of Speed would also be useful as their only slightly more expensive and if you have high cool down reduction you can probably reach a higher then 10% average. Magnus Rod (Which will solve alot of your mana problems) would be a good replace fo
I think the problem is that if you stack item to get as much hitpoints as possible you priest get synergy bonus cause their ability is based on your total hitpoints. And because priest heal nearly as fast as a non cooltime enhanced Sedna if your keeping their heal power up then your basically casting the heal spell at double speed which is faster then stacking cool down reduction and requires no flags. And while CD does provide synergy with pounce it's more effective for a mana
Sigh... Justin Kruger and David Dunning at Cornell University studied this in their study "Unskilled and Unaware of It: How Difficulties in Recognizing One’s Own Incompetence Lead to Inflated Self-Assessments.” People tend to hold overly favorable views of their abilities in many social and intellectual domains. The authors suggest that this overestimation occurs, in part, because people who are unskilled in these domains suffer a dual burden:
Totem of Revelation may helps cause then you can see Eberus before he can bat swarm into you and it only cost 50 so if it doesn't work for you can sell it and be out 10 gold. Combine this with Fire Aura and then assuming he didn't take the Swift Anklet you can out run him so you can fight him on your owns terms and don't have to worry about him Ninjaing you. Besides Bite the only other way Eberus deals damage is auto attack, until his minion arrive anyways. Sludge Slinger can he
I think we are just not defining our terms correctly. For me early game is level 1-3 ending at level 4. While Koushiar comment is absolutely right midgame and late game (Universal gadget does not scale well past early game for damage and midgame for health) in the first three level they can hold off at a 2xUB rush. And when I say sniper scope I mean the upgrade that allow regulus to shoot farther and thus take out towers as well as shooting UB from farther awy. The original
What might work depending on the UB players Oak should take priests and Blood of Fallen and shield on load out. That will give him the stay power to hold the flags. --------- Regulus should take Universal Gadgets, and the Anklet as his favor item and get sniper scope as soon as possible. Snipe would be a good starting skill. ----- Oak should take the lead and hopefully absorb a spit or
I don't use HOL for Oak very much. He's got a good amount of hitpoints and he can get hit points back with priest or by killing enemies and using Soul Power. Penitence uses so much mana that you usally need a hat or two anyways and once your wearing them I find the mana comes back fast enough that you don't need HOL as long as your using Soul Power. Monks cost 900 and restore all your hitpoints eventually (Plus your teamates) and they can do it in battle. If I had the choice of of a MageSlate
If your not playing 1v1 it really matter what your teamates are taking. The only problem with a Minon build is that if the opponent has any speed enchacements then he can just walk away from your minons at almost anytime. Sedna's problem is that she has no slows so people just tend to walk away when they get in trouble. If you've got a Regulus on your team who's taken Shrapnel Mines, Maim, Poison Daggers or Mark of the Betrayer or a Eberus with Bite and Charm, Torch Bearer playi
