It is true that the towers are spaced apart, but if you have been killed once or twice, you are best not venturing too far from center flag/towers. You can raise money because 1. you start with about half of that 2. gold minse generate money If you keep getting ganked, your teammates should help you, Demigod is a team game, and your TEAM will lose if you don't help each other. I understand you are trying to defend the op, but refuting suggestions isn't
You make it sound so easy. Regulus, TB and UB all have abilities that can slow you down. UB is naturally faster than Oak, and even if he bought a +speed item what makes you think that the UB won't do the same?
First it was a regulus, TB, and SEDNA (not UB) Second Prision is a pretty small map, you can get the away pretty fast. Third honestly, your team mates should have tried to help you
ok, if that was the situation, you need to super stack hp items. Favor Item: Blood of Fallen +800hp Banded Armor: +400hp Unbreakable boots: +600 hp For about 2050 gold you just gained 1800hp, enough to soak up a low level snipe + fireball + pounce =)
I remeber the good old days when games as simple as left for dead were free, they were called MODS. Counter-Strike, Day of Defeat, Red Orchestra, Natural Selection, The Specialists, Science and Industry... now they are having us pay for essentailly more content to a game they made already, I really expected more out of TurtleRock, they made counter-strike which had content comming out for YEARS after it's release. I do not intend to buy unless it is like $10 for people who already own L4D 1.<
This has been posted before (just today infact), but yes, it would be nice.
I'd like to know how its my fault that they all three went after me every time and even as oak in early game it is nearly impossible to live against
Easy, just run, the moment you see for than one, run the freaken hills, lol. You may not see it as your fault, but anyone who tried to fight 2v1 or 3v1 needs to wake up and know you aren't gonna win. 1. buy wand of speed 2. run like a chicken with it's head cut off Sorry if I sound like an ass, but w
What does the Adjusted Health percentage mean?
Pretty much means computers will run when they have a more appropirate amount of life left. - AI 1. Adjustments to caution and hazard detection and avoidance. 2. Adjusted health level flee percentage. 3. Demigods do not use minions when fleeing, may summon minions in combat. 4. Improved teleportation 5. Increased Demigod planning frequency <br /
Try restarting your computer =)
That looks like an AWSOME machine. I personally love computers and I love talking with those enthusastic about building them.
Here is a game (supreme commander) using your router http://www.portforward.com/english/routers/port_forwarding/Belkin/F5D7231-4/Supreme_Commander.htm You see where it says "We will list a series of lines here that will show you exactly how to forward the ports you need to forward. Supreme Commander requires you to forward the 6112,9103,30350-30351 ports. Go ahead and enter the settings shown above into the Virtual servers menu." The ports for Demigod
Nice guide for noobs, most of this is common sense for anyone who knows what they are doing. The names are nice, but they are kind arbitrary and it might just confuse people.
Alt+click is suppose to be an agressive move but it doesn't seem to do much, lol. I usually just put my demigod where I want it to fight at.
I am sorry you are having problems, I do tech support for a living so I have little patience when I have to deal with this stuff outside of my job, so if I sound like an asshole, sorry again. If you have no clue what you are doing, my best suggestion is to tell us what kind of router you havd and maybe someone who has it can post some screenshots on what you are suppose to do.
I also run a relatively large message board called the "SS Free" ( http://s1.zetaboards.com/strikesback5/index/ ), which is for discussing Blizzard Entertainment, Reenactor Entertainment, Flagship Studios, Runic Games, and Hatton Vending.
lol, obviously spam Look at his other posts "I am writing a book" http://forums.demigodthegame.com/354575 "Join my message board" http://forums.demigodthegame.com/352989 so dude, go self
I'm not going to comment on how powerful snipe is, but I do agree with the OP that it isn't fun to play against. I don't like being killed by someone who was not involved in the skirmish I was just in, and was across the map capping some other flag.
So you like being killed by someone who is your face and tearing it off? LOL I think most people don't like being killed in anyway, a lot of folks are just irritated at regu
I always thought updates = new sales, not the other way around... look at tf2 , every update for it is a sales extravaganza.
TF2 also has a free weekend every new update, lol
The portforwarding site is to teach you about port forwarding and it has a download for a utility to see if your ports are truly forwarded. http://www.portforward.com/help/portcheck.htm Again, I recommend you check out the Monk's Guide http://themonk.ca/Monk/Networking_and_DEMIGOD.pdf (which was listed in the post I mentioned ealier)
More coupons FTW! Neither I nor my brother ever got our 50% off coupons, luckily I was able to get two coupons off these forums and two of my friends have since purchased the game. Thanks for the updates, I am looking forward to them!
It has happened to me quite a few times as well. THis occurs in skirmish and pantheon for me, not in custom.
Patience is a virtue my friend, so is self help. In this "Demigod Techincal Support" the very first pinned article (http://forums.demigodthegame.com/345345) has all the info you need, whats screwing you is not lack of help, but lack of self motivation. Note: Be sure to check out the pdf link at the bottom of the post
Quoting mickeko, reply 21 Quoting Brazilian_Joe, reply 20(Norton is a resource hog though). Ok, let me see here.... ccSvcHost is the resident symantec software. CPU usage: 0-2%, it peaks at 4% on rare occasions. Memory use: ~1200kB-~3500kB - On rare occasions it goes up to ~5000kB. That's resource use for both firewalling and malware protection on demand. I don't see how you define a resource hog, but I'm quite
For system resources purposes, NOD32 and Norton 2009 are very good. I strongly recommend either one (I use NOD32, but thats just cause I haven't gotten around to buying the new norton for some of my systems yet) (Note: previous versions of norton were super resource hogs, but 2009 was rewritten from the ground up and rocks)
Also, they are melee. Which means they die alot, and are expensive to resummon.
I think Sedna's minions should be ranged so she does not have to resummon them all the time and QoT's minions should be melee so when you eat them and do aoe damage, they are actually near someone to damage!, lol
Custom games work very well now. Pantheon and Skirmish are mainly 2v2, they had a spurt of 3v3 a week ago, but now it is mainly 2v2. In general they work. I hear they are releasing a patch today, I hope it does lots of good stuff.
