My brother was having a similar issue, after 3 months of tinkering and talking with Stardock tech nothing worked so I just reformatted his harddrive and that got it working. I know its a pain, but if it's been awhile since you gave your computer a fresh install, it might be worth it. It also wasnt a video/sound card issue, as we swapped parts for his machine with newer cards and it would still kick into an audio loop then crash.

I'll agree with we shouldn't compare the two games, but I remain firm in the belief that GPG doesn't seem to care. Say what you will about the people in the wow forums, but there was a great deal of communication going on there. Going off what I've been reading in these forums, putting up 1V1 Beginners/Noobs only is akin to leaving your home unlocked and leaving a sign out in front stating "Home unlocked.
