It was a good movie, but I am still curious about a plot hole or two. I would love to know how the aliens on board that crazy high tech ship got reduced to what they were when the humans in the haz-mat suits found them. Also how that one or two of them kept their wits about them enough to be intelligent enough to throw together computers and make fuel for their ship out of raw materials laying around District nine. I guess the guys who made the film just wanted to leave that up to spe

idk...that guy under the map is probly still bigger :P. Still needs more wheaties!
I like that skeleton key idea DarthKilmor. I think flag locking invulnerablity would be cool. Increased cooldown would be an easier thing to implement though. Concerning the idea that increased cool-down doesn't stop multiple people from coordinating their locks against a flag...so what? It's a step in the right direction that it stops one person from doing it solo. Perhaps team players would be better rewarded like that.
yeah I agree with nerfing the locks too. The cool down should out last the effect of the lock by at least 10 seconds in my opinion. Maybe even 15. People may say "learn to play", but I think it's kinda lame that infinite portal locking is so darn easy.
Falcontx made something like this for supreme commander fairly recently. He's running it on his own web server. I guess the fact that it's optional filters out most of the idiots though. A complete tool wouldn't take the time to go download this thing. It's an extremely cool system.
Well, I think erebus may be OP, BUT i will say that I lost using a pure minion build with a premade team vs a better premade team. I play in a pretty casual clan, so the premades I find myself in aren't really good. We do use teamspeak so we manage to communicate with each other though. Anyways, the enemy team had 3 names that i recognized from the forums, whereas my guys just get on to play the game every now and then. They were spit UB, snipe/mines reg, and a shield QoT of som
If you go ice, you can use your deep freeze spell to screw up people's heal spells. For instance, with a sedna, she will usually heal once during a battle then keep fighting. Her heal is on a 6 second cool down I believe. When you see that first heal, you count to 5 seconds, then use deep freeze on her. This will make her wait another 6 seconds to use her heal, which usually results in a dead sedna...or in sedna's friend whom she was healing being dead. It works on Queen and Oak pretty decent
I would hope that google is more aware of the short comings of their browser than us lay people are though... *edit* but hey chrome itself has a cool little feature that I just noticed for reporting bugs or broken web sites. Its under the "control current page" menu. Which is the ..umm..little dog-eared paper button next to the wrench...to the right of the address bar. Dangit using the cute little pictures for buttons instead of words like "file, edit, tools, etc" makes commun
pathing should be up to GPG I believe...but yeah it could use some work. I hope supcom two's revolutionary pathing doesn't include any stupid little quirks like that. *edit* that is a funny graphic though :P
what operating system are you on? If it's windows 7 I may avoid it for a litte longer.. *edit* the only audio bug I have ever had is where I die, so the death sound effect starts (that foggy, misty, you're dead sound), then I leave that game. The sound effect never turns back off till I die again then come back to life in some other game. Fortunately/unfortunately I didn't die in my next 3 games...but I was basically playing with no sound...other than the sound of wind of what
I just got legal access to the retail version of windows 7 from work...I'm thinking of installing it at home on my gaming machine. Should I do that now or should I wait? I'm running XP 64 bit right now. I have a geforce 8800 video card, so I imagine that running on XP's directx 9 on that card holds it back a bit. Should I expect a bunch of stupid little glitches since this operating system is still new? Or will it work nicely since it's been in testing for a while? I wanna play demigod and su
This guy! Lets play with another picture of frogboy for a while! This is the perfect excuse! I wonder what abilities he will have....
this isn't a useless post...I like the idea of an option to turn off potion drops...personally i Usually dont get that erebus skill anyways. That skill needs to be recognizable by your team as a posioned potion anyways so that they don't eat it.
My team used like 20 of these to heal the citadel in a losing battle on zikurat. The enemies kept holding the side portals better than us. We were able to hold back a good bit of the giants and stuff but enough were getting through to do major damage. We upgraded the cit hp to the max then started healin it with gadgets. We almost made some come backs with the extra time that bought us. We did eventually lose though.
I don't think generals are gonna appreciate being warped into 3 assassins =(. Maybe minion masters will have somethin to fear now haha
Like I said earlier, I've switched my stance on minions. I'm gonna wait and see if people can come up with some good counters. I have lost games using minion erebus/oak. It usually felt like their team was simply better coordinated though. As for favor items. I was using ring of divine might because I didn't feel that was OP like the horn. Now I'm kinda undecided between tome of endurance and swift anklet. Tome of endurance gives your minions some extra hp and give your hero 400 HP. T
Reg kills towers slowly due to his low dps. I also tend to notice that a reg is shooting a tower after a couple of shots because I zoom out a lot. Now even without horn of battle..I think minion erebus can kill towers faster than a sniper scope reg. You can use your minions to draw the tower's fire away from your character while you beat on it.
never really considered the flaglocking to make enemies chase u past a flag idea before. interesting
well you can try to prevent him from shielding by using silence or deep freeze or something...I have actually interupted shield casts by trying to use my interupts when i figure they may shield....but thats just luck
I've used foul grasp on a shielded oak and he just kept running away...multiple times...my ub stood there pointing at him like the good little puppy he is though
quoting post Fixed the Sedna Healing wind buff with High priests issue that has been discussed. This makes it offical. Fixed not Nerfed
lol. I guess people can't say that "high priests having less hp but better healing for sedna only" is a design decision anymore. And I'm glad to see those items removed untill they get fixed...but I hope th

You can also use minions to distract a tower. You send the minions in first then come in with your DG from a different angle. The splash that towers start with isnt high enough to damage your minions on one side of the tower and you on the other side at the same time. You can quickly take down towers at level 2 this way. Its a lot easier at level 5 though. Adding horn of battle would probly make it easier too I suppose.
