I just came from a game where all players had sim speed >7 though from the word go the game felt like it was running really slow. My ping was avg 120ms to other players though there was one player with a ping of 500ms. It has run well online before and runs really well in single player. Core 2. 2.1 Ghz, 4 G Ram, 8800 GTS, and I am getting 500+ kb upstream. Also it was a 2v2 game. Other than that the game connects well and has never had any issues. It was a fun game anyway.

I want to play Demigod online. I have had no trouble joining games and it runs oh so sweet. The problem I have is that there appears to be no player base in Aus and all those lovely people in the US are happy to kick someone with a ping of 250ms. Is there somebody out there who wants a game?

I made a post regarding this sometime last week. Sorian released a mod that keeps them up. If you search the forums you will find it. And yes it should have been in the game from the word go [e digicons]:'([/e]

To be fair Dota has got over eight years of development behind it so its bound to be a tighter game. I enjoy playing demigod and feel that if it takes off, then in the future it could be a good alternative to DotA. The Devs are backing thier game which is great. Hopefully they take some of the suggestions from the community into account. Your are right about towers and creeps but that will be caught as the game gets patched and through experience. Wow, I just popped out of a custom game from Oz and it was fantastic. The game is so much better with people. Its was 3v3 and took about 2 minutes to get running and had no issues. Regulus is my homeboy :) Once the teething problems are over this game is going to be great fun, especially with a large community and good developer support. I can alt-tab but I lose textures on models when I come back into the game. My Video Card is an nvidia 8800gts on Vista 64-bit.

I am really enjoying this game. Just have a few questions that hopefully you guys can help me with. 1. Where it displays your health and mana when you mouse over it shows the numbers for the exact amount of both. Is there a way to keep these numbers displayed all the time? Or maybe I can get health and mana to display in the mini info panel? 2. Is there a way to get a different cursor (say red instead of blue) to display when I do an attack (alt)
