IMO Oc is the most powerful dg in the game, but it's very difficult to play him well. That's how it should be. Then there is Oak, who any noob could do very well with.

greetings zengod. I will destroy you in the next round.

Part of my telling you that you would never kill me was to get you to stop trying... I was flying around with 2500 hp the whole game after all! Both times I knew you could kill me, you did, which sucks for me but it speaks to how good of a player you are.
By that logic I pledge 52.631 billion dollars to the winner of the next tournament!
Interesting that they chose reg/ub in response to tb/ub which was chosen first.
No people lose because of me all the time! I do all sorts of stupid things like play demigod with 1 eye open because I have a smashing headache. But... I don't die as oak 5 times in 10 minutes! However I did die 4 times in 15 minutes the other day as oak with shane. Knowing that I would tie your record I stepped it up and didn't die again. win
Speaking of, someone should shoot a message to brandon_varn who's been playing every day but has yet to contribute his pledge. I hate people who pledge stuff and then don't make good on it.
You guys realize you can just add him as a friend in Dg and send him a message that he'll get when/if he logs on?
All I know is that every time I play a game with Mith and he is Oak he does 5 times in the first 10 minutes. Supposedly it doesn't happen when I'm not in the game but I'll believe that when I see it. Which isn't even possible... but still.
Actually my monk comment has little to do with hedgie. Though I would kick him out of t1 for poor sportsmanship, I'd expect everyone in t1 to not admittedly, intentionally sabotage their own team for their personal laughs. Good monk micro can really make or break a game, and at least turn the advantage of a game but very few people do anything more then click a monk and tell it to follow someone, which if often more harm then good (attacking towers), and then forget about it whe
From my experience, clans that don't have a strong leader who picks a random name on a whim before allowing others to suggest something tend to die quickly. Clans that pick names that are all serious, are not serious, and die quickly. The first word that came to mind was: Rutabagas.
What happens if the player only plays assassins? Then they can't ever be tier 1?
Of course. This is tier '1' we are talking about here, not tier 'your mom'.
Pretty much all my games have been at 10pm PST or later the last weeks. Except yesterday where I played from around 1pm PST to 6. Yesterday there wasn't any significant lag from unknown sources during that time. It was the late night games when practically no one is on. However, 3 of 6 games played ended with an unexpected DC, 2 of those 3 were the '2 random people dc at the same time' phenomenon.
Well monks have been my hotspot lately. Jona sent me a monk like 20s into a game recently and I was furious! The comment wasn't directed at him (though I thought to post it because of that game), it's just my opinion that a tier 1 player will always have pro monk micro.
Unless it is sheer coincidence, every time a game lags horribly for no known reason (good pings from everyone to everyone with no spikes and >3 or 4 sim speed all around) the forums are almost impossible to post on. Maybe there is a dying router someplace and we should run a few pingplotter type tests? Every night I've experienced the lag (it's usually late at night PST, but that's mostly when I play) I try to bump this post but it's just EGADS errors over and over.
If you don't send a monk to one side of the map within 5s of the game starting as the only general on a team, you don't deserve to own the game, much less be on a list with tiers. Also, if you don't send a new monk within 15s of the old one dying at any point you shouldn't be on a list. Lastly, if you don't understand stacking monks or don't do it in the first 3 minutes of a game with multiple generals your account should be deleted and all mention of you erased from these for
You did a really phenomenal job on this Ptarth. Thank you for your hard work!
Ok seriously, third night in a row with incredibly laggy games with all sims>4 and all pings The best part is UB does 01237129873030218039821903 passive damage before anyone can queue an ability. With p2p why is there any communication with stardock during the game anyway? It should just be at the end.
Yes, now I am officially a founding member...
I tried to bump this post for like two hours the other day but the forums wouldn't work long enough to get the post in...
It would be interesting to discuss who is best with what DGs. I actually don't know. Oculus is the only dg I'm consistently pro with.
Magnus: --- First, from the time you hit the base of the circle on Leviathan and have to choose to go left or right it takes LESS time for monks to walk from there to either sides tower than it does from the citadel on Cataract to either side because of pathing issues. Within 2 seconds of the game starting I said "no monk" so you would know what to do. --- I knew what I would do as well: not give you a monk. You fail to realize I have no prob
no you weren't there. Magnus refused to purchase monks at the start and told me to split them over 4v4 Levi. I aptly refused because 4v4 Levi is not 3v3 Cata and it takes monks about an hour to walk to the other side of the map and if you split monks with 2 people in a lane you lose the 40 dps the monk gives you and also half the healing making it that much harder to survive. Magnus then proceeded to get juked into going in
