Community QA is not a thing that has ever happened, and never will.
There is a little game development company you may have heard of that does indeed have a community testing team... Firaxis. They released a new title recently called Civilization V, maybe you have heard of it? I applaud Pacov's efforts in this matter. Here is a quick tip... if you want GPG to implement something you have to make it mind-numbingly simple for them to do it to the poin

So if zengod makes the next post in this thread, that will be the closest to a 'clan' activity as we've come!

It is sort of a worse case scenario, but out of every 10 games you play you can except 3-5 of them to be ruined by incredible lag, peoples client crashing or disconnects for other reasons. Also out of every 10 games that start you should expect 10 other lobbies to crash in the process, more realistically the number is probably 15 crashed lobbies for every 10 games played.

This is why people don't stick around in this game for long... My playing experience from a couple nights ago: 1) log on and sit in a lobby for 15 minutes waiting for it to fill. When it finally does the buggy lobby crashes the host and everyone times out 2) join a new game and wait 10 minutes for it to start. Before the game even starts someones game crashes and everyone leaves the game when it loads 3) Join a new game in the lobby, it fills quickly this

When looking at friends status while in game: 1) Online - means the person is on the forums 2) In Demigod - means the person has Demigod loaded, be they in a lobby, in a game or just alt tabbed.

There are between 10 and 100 people playing demigod at any given time, right now there are 75 and it's prime time. The median amount of people online at any given time is probably in the high 30's... And you need a committee of 5+ people to talk about stuff that none of you know anything about? Here's a novel idea, if you want to increase the activity of demigod how about you log on and play games instead of wasting time in a forum? It would

I don't feel that uberfix made a huge difference. I planned my entire strategy around having it as it heavily favors OC and I'm clearly the best OC player there is, yet even with all the huge buffs UB still scales wildly better than any other DG. It certainly helped in the early to mid-game that's for sure but I don't think the tourney would have turned out any different without uberfix. It would have just been faster wins for some teams. Not to bash your work or any

If players online was actually the players online, it would be fine. But it's not.

Wow, at one point 3 whole people were queued in the pantheon. Could you please remove the 'players online' category since it's totally broken and reports people simply on impulse who have demigod? It's pretty much rendering all of the graphs useless since there are hundreds and hundreds of people not playing demigod who own it but only single digit amount of people who really are and I can't even see how many that is.

I am totally against giving QoT 500 more mana, that will do next to nothing to increase her effective mana which is the real problem and any change to her at all will give the devs justification to 'wait and see how it plays out' before looking at her again in another year.

You guys clearly haven't developed games before if you think that 1) a general community consensus is going to achieve balance and 2) there will ever be a general community consensus Anyway, my opinion is that nothing should change, the game is ultimately balanced enough. If things were going to change then it would be cool if the diversity was increased and useless stuff was replaced with useful stuff. There is too much useless stuff

My point wasn't to tell other people to post, just to warn people that I won't reply much. I give this thread about 3 more hours before it devolves into a UB IS OP frenzy. I know nothing in this thread will ever come into existence, but I enjoy thinking about it. It took me about as long as 1 game of demigod to think/post it and sadly, it was actually much more fun than 90% of my recent games have been.

Below is my opinion of mostly minor tweaks to balance the demigods and create diversity. I think this is a two step process. Step 1 is adjusting talents (slight nerfs, buffs and revamps for totally useless stuff). Step 2 is a complete revamp of itemization. Despite some minor issues the demigods themselves are fairly balanced, I would say they are 90% of the way there. Itemization however is more like 10%. TB - Very balanced overall, if a l

Can someone log on? I'd like to play a game please. Thanks

No my point was that almost everyone who plays this game plays mostly 3v3, and I would argue random match ups but that's only my experience. 2v2 is like a whole different environment that few people are really practiced in. I'd like to see a tournament that reflects how most of us actually play most of the time. Sorta like the wow arena, 2v2 and 3v3 were entirely different setups, each had their good combos and bad that were different from each other and people could be ph

This tournament is not turning out the way I expected. I would like to see the 3v3 round robin setup, even if it's just 6 or 8 teams. Set specific times (8-12 on Friday+sat) for everyone to be on and just play games with whatever teams are available. That's far similar to what actually happens now outside of the tournament than these odd 2v2 matchups with specific characters that people aren't used to.

The problem is, the current setup made it advantageous for people to not bother trying to schedule their matches or posting replays. If the rule was that every person had to post their availability for the entire week within XX days of each round starting and ALL scheduling had to take place in a single thread, not in pms, or in game, etc it would be easy to track. Also I don't think free agent teams should be allowed. If people can't be bothered to find a partner
