There's plenty of builds where +health aren't the best items. Depending on my opponents I often won't buy +health items as I won't be getting hit significantly early game, which means +health would be completely useless to me. In a 2vs2 situation it's much better for 1 to stack health and 1 to not. If your opponents are smart they may try to hit the one not stacking health, but then he can run away(obviously the hero with range/more escapes stacks the damage stuff) and while

I haven't been playing lately. Partly, frustated from bad mutliplayer setup and buggy game, and partly from just not wanting to play. I got over a month of entertainment out of it though and only paid 20$ for it since I got one of those codes. I think I got my monies worth without a refund.

Pantheon is not the solution. 75% of pantheon games I get are vs computers because someone canceled their connection attempt (usually premades that failed to get teamed up). Another little bit are the actual premades, and then another tiny percent are actual games vs real people that didn't try to rig the system. Skirmish is somewhat more acceptable although if everyone abandoned pantheon for skirmish I'm sure premades would just wait till they got in game and then quit if t

But if they played custom games another premade might join against them and then there's a chance they could lose!

It's not fully all there yet (hopefully they'll have the money to continue supporting it), but I wasn't doing much of anything when I got it and it's been entertaining me for a few months now. The balance is pretty good and while there's few demigods there's a lot of different ways to play each one and the map modes gives some variety to the few maps. As for elitism, play some single player read about some strats and the demigods, their abilities, and the items th

I dunno I've been alternating light/dark and the side I'm ons been winning everytime. I started out light on accident not realize it'd force me on it for the whole tournament. Didn't really notice an abundance of the named AI players (Hintani Nacer etc) on either side. WHen I switched to dark almost every named AI was on the other side. When I switched to light same with almost every AI being on dark. Now with this round I'm on dark again and I haven't seen a sin

"70% lost games in pantheon youre not allowed to be sarcastic in these threads" All but one of the losses was the host discing and getting an instant win... Which is pretty much the best build in the game bar none atm.

Tower rooks are decent early-mid game and weak late game. They're a hard counter for stupid players though. People who blindly go about their business without thinking about what they're facing get crushed by tower rooks. The thing bad players don't realize when they lose to a tower rook is they'd probably lose to that player regardless of what demigod he picked. They just wouldn't have the "I ran into a tower farm alone with nothing distracting towers, got owned, repe

If hp items were inline with other items noone would buy them. Why make yourself last longer when you can just kill your enemies faster and stop taking damage all together? That will be the new wisdom to item buying if the rediculus nerfs (50%!?) people are suggesting go into effect. Not to mention in group situations +health/armor items only affect the dg getting hit and not the other 1 or 2 dgs that are left allone.

I've had several pantheon games where one person dropped out rest of the 3 completed the game and the person that dropped outs game counted. Last epoch the only games I had counted wrong that weren't me losing connection didn't count at all. Having a lose where their should be a win is even worse.

They changed the game so that host wins no matter what. It's a realism issue you see if you smack down the host too badly he'll take his ball and go home thus giving him the win no matter. So you have to play where you're beating the host but not too badly so he doesn't disc. Either that or just always be the host and quit after 3 minutes. It's the perfect strategy if you don't you're clearly a scrub for not playing to win. Disclaimer: this post was made in jest.

Just hold them off dual spitting them/towers till you get items that outclass them and kill them off late game. Also push them when creep waves hit their towers and are distracted. There's only one lane so they can't push a side that doesn't have creeps supporting it. Tower rooks are strong up till like level 14 and then they start becoming irrelevant. Make sure you don't ignore armor too it's important vs towers.

You only buy favor items once. Buying it unlocks it for you to select. Notice the next time you go into the game that it has "purchased" for ankelet of speed tooltip. Why you have negative favor I don't know though.

Sometimes I'd rather have an AI and sometimes I wouldn't. I've played 2vs1 with no AI on dominations where I was smacking the other players around but in the end couldn't win because I just couldn't cap flags fast enough even with cap locks. An AI running around capping flags even ineptly could have made a difference for me.

If demigod had WarIII level b.net backing it, there'd be atleast 20,000 if not 50,000 people playing right now and a year from now. I'm glad to see you guys see this as well and are trying to improve the multiplayer interface.

I've had 4vs0 where I was on fighting against the side of the pantheon I was on too : p Pantheon can only have good vs evil where skirmish can be mixed, and Good vs Evil favor is tracked on pantheon. Also, Pantheon is the place for friends to stomp randoms by abusing the connect screen prior to the game launching, which from what I understand is mostly what's causing the funky matchup issues.

There's also a bug with auto attacking snared enemies. Ranged demigods will run to point blank on a demigod that's moving slower than them. I've lost a few games as regulus solely because he ran right up too a rook that could autoattack for 500 damage.

I like the map. Being one lane allows the losing team to play defensive until they change gears to something that can win and being able to backdoor teleport adds some strategy to it. I played one game where we controlled the lane the whole game but the dual oaks held us off at the last fortress till they got some good items and then started pushing us back at which point I started teleporting to their rear and it won us the game. That kind of back and forth shifting strat

Just an idea that probably shouldn't be taken too seriously, but it'd be cool if angels had the ability to res a creep or minion on like a 15 second cooldown. Maybe swap them in position with cats too to make early creep pushes more viable. If I try to push with creeps early it kind of dies out because while priests can be good support if you support them angels don't seem to really add anything to forcing ones way through their base early.
