oh yea, sorry my response was for mainly multiplayer - 4nana makes some good comments as well. j
If you want to try and play with Trouser and Chiefy, they'd probably love to have you... but you'd have to do all the coordinating, since they are both the, "Sure, whatever you say," types. If you are interested, let me know. Not sure how the rules committee will feel though...
I've literally played hundreds of games with trouser :) Please let chiefy know and i'll hit up trouser. T
The single player will help you learn the mechanics of the game but won't train you for multiplayer. So your goal for now should be to learn the equipment, citadel upgrades and 1 demigod. I would recommend learning (pick one) beast, oak or erebus. Play that one demigod a lot until you are comfortable with it. There are multiple guides in the strategy section, read the guides for build strategies. (I recommend staying away from minion builds for oak/er
Once you drop you can't re-enter bwwahahahahaha :)
what's your vote on max/seb's team? I say keep em another week. Hopefully they can find an alt as needed.
Im throwing myself out there as an alt to maybe help a team get their games in. I'll take care of the spreadsheet tomorrow with the latest DQ's/quits/probation etc. thanks! j
Thunder tries to steal all of the credit lol !!! After discussions amongst the 3 of us the only viable conclusion was to drop from the tourney. Not all of it was related to Thunders lag :) The time shift also had a negative effect. This changed me (EST) to 5 hours time difference to Thunder but 7 hours to Nomilarac (EU). My availability is typically from 9pm -12am EST (due to kids, work etc.) which equates to 4am for nom and 4pm for Thunder. Also, as
oh damn i meant to grab COD today lol. Maybe this thursday. (im out of town tomorrow night)
12 Nacelle, Vulture, Loco - Nacelle mentioned that his team may not be interested in continuing - this was 3+/- weeks ago 14 Commando, Rezzan, Tschert - i havent seen them since their first match against us. That was the first week of the tourney. once you guys finalize decisions please let me know and i will update the spreadsheet.
However - i might like to add, Ruip was mentioned that he is in military training for deployment. I think thats a pretty damn good reason to just perma-probate them. It doesn't hurt us to DQ in the future.
All the teams that are in red are the ones that were previously put on probation on 11/2 These teams are: 3 Beastmode, General G, SitffyG 8 IZ, Darz, Darkliath 10 Eltimes, Seawolf, Dream Catcher 12 Nacelle, Vulture, Loco 14 Commando, Rezzan, Tschert 18 Max, Seb, Stilr 19 Mort, Nate, Zebra 20 &n
Sunday Nov 7 Darz, Iz, Darkliath win 1 game over jon, nom thunder. Currently there is no replay unless Darz's team can provide one. The game shows as incomplete in the pantheon.
i should be finished up on some video editing by sunday - maybe i can look at it then ! j
That's why you drop it at the crystal and someone else picks it up on your team It's a strategy I wish that people picked up on, but, sadly, no Priority for Orb of Defiance (imo): Sedna > UB > Rook > Queen > DA > TB > Occulus Demigods not really able to use it well, or it's just redundant: Reg, Ereb, Oak
While
Some of you can't be 16 anymore. 17, 18, and then you're not really all that interesting anymore.
Ninki likes them young !
It still depends.. hungarlings can be a better team purchase over bishops. Are you running out of mana before you can kill, but hp is still doing alright? Gifting your team 25% mana cost reduction can be a much better gift then slightly better heals .
Wow, it's almost like i asked you to say that [e digicons][/e] The jump from monks to bishops is great, there's no dispute there,
I remember McShane got drunk once and screwed over his team. The RAEG was pretty funny.
Oh i think i was in that game ! That was pretty funny, you were a riot shane !
Haha thanks Hedgie for the info ! I received the above email today and thought it was funny that it included Hedgie pictures for a story describing porcupines. Of course the pictures made me think of you (not the story though) and the story made me laugh, so i posted it :) also, after my wife saw the pictures she said she wanted us to have a hedgehog :) do you want a free place to live? lol
Damn, i want the 5 minutes back that it took me to read this thread. I'm glad Nom kicked you from his games. Based on your comments, i will do the same. Good Day.
