Please go play 10 games, buy Priest "upgrade" as soon as it is available, see how many times you lose.
As I said, you can't buy them mindlessly. They are useful in combination with other creep upgrades, however.

Also, I read that there used to be an invisibility skill for one of the demigods, but it was removed.
But this sentance makes no sense, in that this is a purchaseable upgrade. It is like having an item, which gives the other team XP and Gold and gives you +25 DMG only. It is unbalanced, making it outright worthless in the game.
The priests heal and attack. You are underestimating them.
Mines can be avoided? Yeah, if the Regulus is dumb enough not to throw them on you...
Two seconds (cast time plus trigger delay) is enough time to step away.
Ooze is useless again Regulus and any other ranged harrassment.
The stacked HP is not useless, however, and you can only stack so much of it if you skip mana items. It works out.
Inner Beast helps you get to them faster in the first place, though. To flags too. I don't think it's clear at all that Diseased Claws should get priority.
It depends on the situation, but Ooze is less commonly useful than Spit is overall.
You are contradicting this when you say that most of your damage comes from autoattacks. If it were true that this game mostly consisted of harrassment, for which Ooze is useless but Spit is very useful, you just wouldn't be dealing much damage at all, not to mention getting kills. The bottom line is that an Ooze build can't harrass, but doesn't need to, i
Because they are a game breaker, they are the one thing that guarantees you lose the game.
The game allows you to make mistakes, and sometimes those mistakes benefit the enemy team directly. Getting killed would be an another instance of this. Just like you can't move around the map mindlessly, you can't buy citadel upgrades mindlessly. No one forces you to do it, and they're not useless in all contexts.
"Competent" doesn't mean "not great".
Priests should definately have their XP and gold lowered.
Why?
I totally disagree with calling UB squishy. He beats almost all demigods in 1v1 combat with a pure Ooze build; relying on spit means you need mana items, so you have much less health than you could, plus you don't have the nice AoE damage and attack speed reduction of Ooze.
Hear, hear. The people posting here clearly don't understand Ooze builds. There is no way you can call an UB with 7k HP "squishy", especially if he's equipp
Look, you can't use HoL with Bramble Shield like you do with Oak's shield. You still get hit and it still breaks the effect.
I play Sedna often and I've certainly thought about using Silence over Healing Wind. I haven't really gotten around to it, though, and I haven't seen people using it either, but it could be quite powerful. For instance, it could prevent heals/mists/sigils in critical moments and lead to kills. The best part is that i's AoE. Edit: again, I saw no prior replies before posting. This is very weird.
Staff of Renewal decreases the cooldown of skills by 20% and the Stormbringer by 15%. A celerity flag can trim down another 15%. If you had all three, you could throw mines every 6 seconds (including the cast time). Edit: strange, it semed like this thread was empty before I posted.
F)The OOMer: Assist demigods (sed, oak, qot) prancing about at no mana (and not telling you till you die expceting a heal/shield) instead of hauling ass back to camp to rejuvinate.
Right, it's always the support DGs' fault when you die and they are nearby, and not yours for overreaching. Healing and shields have a cooldown; it takes time to save for mana items, especially if you buy citadel upgrades; in some maps, the crystal might be too far to visit; th
