I'd like to see a system of resource sharing like civ - i.e. require routes to share resources. But I was thinking that maybe routes would automatically develop between resource areas (lots of people walking to one place resulting in little dirt tracks). You could upgrade these tracks in the cities for benefits such as increased movement. Or maybe the level of road/track would limit the amout of traffic it could take - i.e. with a simple dirt track you could only transport 10 units of
