Sorry Viras, I agree with those points, I just felt the "I win most games on slower game speeds," to be really suspect. I play on Iccup etc. and generally anyone I meet who claims to be "good at strategy but not fast enough" never expands and doesn't even build workers after the first few minutes. This game could be more fun to watch if you could see what items people were buying, citadel upgrades being bought, and what skills people were getting. They could have some kind

Honestly it feels like simspeed is the limiting factor and not network, there is always someone with like one or two simspeed. I don't understand why it can't just drop frames for the player instead of forcing slowdown onto everyone.

Just because something is fast doesn't mean it doesn't require strategy. A good SC player on fastest is going to kill anyone on a slower setting because he'll be even better. You have zero advantage over a better player if it's slower, you are not a "genius strategy master" that is only unable to use this skill due to the game being too fast. The same goes for Demigod, slow does not equal more strategic and fast does not equal less strategic. With that

That's not really happening to me, I am just saying as an example of how that skill can end up hurting you instead of helping you, which other skills won't do in any circumstance. Even if you are playing exactly like you said, there will still be times you might die out of position and have last stand just make you wait longer to respawn. I'd rather spend points elsewhere.

My issue with last stand is that it essentially just delays your respawn timer. There are situations where it will allow you to get an extra kill, but if you die to a snipe a few feet from your crystal, then you have useless invulnerability that just extends how long it will take you to respawn.

Not having a ladder is my number one concern for this game. I would rather have a real ladder than two new demi-gods and new maps. It's a bad sign that no one acknowledges these requests, but the idea forum is full of terrible ideas for new demi-gods (ideas that will NEVER happen) but suggestions that matter just sink to the bottom.

Are there any plans to offer a ladder aside from Pantheon? I'm mostly a Starcraft player and am thinking specifically of the way Iccup functions. Each player has a rank that is displayed next to his/her name, games are generally created based on rank, i.e. "1v1 (map name) D+, C-, C" with the letters being the rank. I'm not sure how others feel, but I'm not very interested in Pantheon and want to play Demigod in a more competitive way than "custom game" allows for. In
