I don't know. I'm getting used to the slow pace of the game from repeated playing. It's a great game and I'm liking it more all the time, but it really does move slowly, especially compared to Warcraft 3. Not DOTA, which I don't like at all, just regular Warcraft 3 frozen throne.
I agree with Hugh. I'm new to the game but found that playing as Rook I get pwned by any hero that gets close to me, even when they are lower level. Playing as the crossbow shooting guy, I pwn every other hero, regardless if they are higher level, and just keep running back behind my towers.
Movespeed 7 was tried during the Demigod beta. It was found that anything affecting speed became too effective, and it reduced strategy by favoring movement and slow builds even more and making it extremely easy to retreat from any situation. > >> The game is like this now. This worked for me. I have just now been able to log in for the first time since buying the game. I will repost later to tell if this seems to be a permanent fix.
