I just got Demigod from my missus today and im having the same problem, it's NOT my drive as i can run other DVD's from it, ive heared on other forums that people are having this issue aswell!, I really dont want to download it as i like having the working physical media.

I think it's pretty common knowledge Demigod is not selling as well as hoped and thats just by looking at the game statistics available from the main site, and yes they are trying to push their own content delivery system but it will never be as popular or as far reaching as Steam is, I'm just saying it may be wise of them to bite the bullet in this case as Steam has a proven track record of making games sucessfull long after release.
1 line of code to implement changes? are you kidding me?!, you realise how that one line of code influences a multitude of others?, It's not just a case of deleting binary numbers, It's a case of editing core engine defaults, addressing relations between the coding and also implementing balances to the entire game to make sure everything is working as it should. I'm not making excuses for Stardock...but please dont be so naive to think that releasing patches to "minor" fixes is like r
Hey guys, still deciding on Demigod...have not yet took the plunge and bought it yet, It's a chalk between this and ARMA2 but what i wanted to say is that judging by the current state of the game and the continual beration of SD and GPG on these forums it would be wise of Stardock to get a demo out ASAP, word of mouth is the number one factor in determining sales of any product and since Demigods launch was criticised by most of the major review wesbites i believe that many gam
Wow, seeing this really does nothing to attract new gamers like myself, i asked yesterday evening about the current state of the game and this does nothing to persuade me to take up Demigod and recommend it to my friends. Ts however is failing to take note of the large costs needed to develop a game like Demigod past concept stage and into a final product especially in this age of economic climate, art design, coding, engine tweaks all place enormous strain on a budget and i doubt if
Hey guys! thanks for the replies thus far! It's convincing me!, especially since its retailing at 24.99 over SD which is the same and/or cheaper than retail outlets in the UK, I trust SD and GPG to come through on their promises of additional content so i think it's a buy for me!. I was a little worried because i looked through the recent forum posts and found no mention of new players looking for advice, usually an official forum would have lots of these types of posts!.
Good evening folks! I've been lurking on these forums for a while and seeing the release of 1.1 ive decided to make a commitment to Demigod (based on what you have to say now), when it was first announced i was stoked for the title, a game from the creators of one of my favorite RTS games and Stardock sounded like perfection. However, the dissapointing events surrounding release inevitably put me and my friends off buying the product for a while, were all good buddies who alwa
