Im having the same problem, i log on online but i see no games. the friends list isnt working and in the impulse chat room which works im called guest_132 weird ! I have turned off window fire wall and my routers firewall and i still have the same issue
I used to play on game ranger with my friend and we totally dominated every 2 man team after our "noob phase", we played well over 200 games under many names but we should be remebered as Gavatron and Mortack/BLaNKMiND I then went on to play the official online verion but my friend didnt, i joined many games with feeders on our team and my win loss took a battering. I would be very interested to see oak counter erebus on equal skill levels.
I would much rather my skill determine a battle than my internet connection or closeness to the server. How many times on cs have i been blasting away on someone, seeing the animation of them being hit many times, yet they only register 1 or 2 hits, not a very competitive way of doing things especially if multiple continents are involved. p2p ftw on competive games, good hosting will stop the lag. p.s. lol at the face palm pic !
It needs to be P2P so when you see a attack happen it happens on all computers at the same time.
WoW polished on release ? I remember blizzard having to give subscription refunds, many many many exploits and bugs, and balance was way off but over time with good patching has made it become the game it is today. All game come out made as best as they can be, its just developers can not predict what 1000's of gamers will find in the first months of release. Maybe jesus should make games !

The Idol powers just need more cool down to resummon, that way it would reward players to kill the minions, as if you kill them then you would know they can not be resummoned less than 30 secs later. It would also make generals have to micro more, and we all know micro > spam in the skill stakes.
