My official copy of Demigod cd key can not be recognised by the impluse! in Demigod Problem Reports Demigod Forums

I have bought a Demigod cd key, but when i tried to register it with the impulse, every time i got such wrong message: " The serial number you have entered is not recognised by Impulse. Only serial numbers provided by Stardock will be accepted. Please check your selected product,emailaddress and serial number, then try again, (ref:2)" What's wrong with my key? And what should i do now?
