I added another 260 GTX to my system. It runs slightly faster. Looks like the processor is not the bottleneck but the game is still UNPLAYABLE. Even at the lowest video settings and no sound it just plain crawls in medium to big battles. My Sim Speed is usually 7. What is the bottleneck?
I just bought the game two days ago and so far it is marginally playable for me. While my system is not the newest gaming rigs out there, it does exceed the minimum and recommended hardware for the game. I am running the game using the /nosound command with the video settings at the minimum. The game is unplayable with sound on. Still in battles with more than 10 units, my frame rate drops to 1 or less fps. I get a couple of clicks in, then wait to resp
