I agree, hate the 1 on 1. I guess if no one else starts for a long time it is better than nothing, but most matches are decided based on what DG you pick. I normally play as Oak and though I dont always win, the other player must be absolutely perfect to even have a chance. I lost to a TB earlier today but prior stomped a Rook, a Reg and two UB's. Plus I dont like Crucible as a map. And I dont recall an announcement about the change. Maybe drop us a n
With Sedna, I always get bishops. I'm not sure if it's worth it for other Demogods. You pay an additional 1980 gold to receive 4% more healing when upgrading from Monks to Bishops. That's either level 4 minotaurs or level 3 seige demolishers, which are both very good alternatives.
I find the extra HP of the bishops to be helpful and worth some money also. They last a lot longer than the monks when you are in a high
i don't know if its me but i seem to level really slowly with this build . me + 4 nightmare AI vs 5 nightmare AI. the AIs hit lv 20 earlier than i do . is there something wrong somewhere ? i find the damage output of this build really low .
Nightmare CPUs get twice the experience that you do for the same actions. Hard CPUs get 1.5 times as much. So it is normal for them to hit level 20 while you are level 12-14 or so.
I am not down on Reg as a demi. He has some ups and down. I have had some awesome games with and against Reg players. My favorite was the first time as UB, I ran into a double Reg PUG on Zikurat. I had gotten reasonably arrogant with my health stacking so I was suprised several times with 2 Regs TP'ing in while I was working a flag or tower, hitting me with double mines and following up with a double snipe. I started carrying a few of the quick health potions t

But anyways, poisoned dagger is for the slowing properties. However you getting $1k speed boots (or even wand) would have been more effective than him sinking in a few points into maim. This would give you &

I think we can safely discount the value of the 5% attack speed increase, so you are going for the slowing. My problem with the poisoned dagger (20% slow proc rate?) is that it would to more useful to always have the target slowed by say 10% (3rd talent level)? Even 5% may have allow my spirits to catch the fleeing LE. That would have been 2 easy kills. If it only happened one out of 5 times, we likely could not have gotten either kill.
I have not carefully watched but I suspect that the higher the AI the more experience they get from killing creep waves. When I play single player with Nightmare I find that they end up hitting lvl 20 while I am lvl 12-14. Despite that if you are using a power demigod (Oak, LE UB), are careful and use sigil of vitality and health potions I find that it is possible to grind down most AI's.
2 horrible Reg partners in a row. --- Reg's job is to annoy, to slow and to be the final nail in the coffin. Dont tank. Dont waste the snipe opportunity. Dont horde money to build the ultimate machine gun pew-pew Reg. --- I play as Oak (someone has to do the damage). Names altered to protect the lame: --- Rag... - what the hell were you doing out there? Oak and Reg vs TB and LE, dominate on Cat. --no points in m
OK, I get it. Im used to Warcraft where new levels dont open up until you have enough points in a tree.
I see many builds say to save a skill point. Why bother? Is the point to pop them out while in the middle of a fight? Suprise? Do you give more experience when dying if you use those skill points? It seems like you just deny yourself a higher level ability/damage.
