Back on subject... I suggest that all you bryce haters go down to www.3dcommune.com and check the bryce section. It has some outstanding art, artists that jump to mind are Pinhead, kaes and Hobbit. they show that it isn't the program, its the artis. It uses booleans, yes, but doesn't a painting use booleans. unless your memory of peinting only reachers fingerpainting in kindergarten you'd know that every painting starts out with simple objects like cubes and cylinders. Rome wasn't built in a day. to learn bryce takes time, i've been at it for 2 years now and when i look at some other artists i feel as if i'm still barely scratching the surface.

thats true. every time i visit an art gallery there is at least one image of a sandy "beach" with a palmtree usually floating in the air. or worse, a water material on which a pink default terrain is placed with a gigantic silver sphere. i've learned that although bryce says its a terrain gen. it is best not to use it for that purpose bryce can indeed deliver some nice abstract results if yo

I've been using bryce 5 for one year now. not only can you make some nice abstract wallpapers, you can also make loads of other stuff. is it allowed to make a link to another website? if so i'll give you a link to one of my most recent works.
