Thanks very much Wizard 1956 for your follow-up and the link however it’s that very app that got me into this situation. The “OS2TW” screen to which I refer was one of 3 screens provided upon install and promptly established itself as an irremovable default screen. I have since completely uninstalled the app and thankfully OS2TW has gone leaving me with a blank screen (other than the progress display) at boot – up. Despite uninstalling and re-installing and attempting to remove "OS2 Time Warp" my default boot screen is now OS2TW. Is this because I'm running the free version, if so it defeats the object. Please advise.
