FOUND A SOLUTION - AT LEAST FOR ME!!!! I had to replace the patched ImpulseReactor.dll in the bin-directory of the game with an old one before the patch 1.30.160 was applied. it took quite a while to find that out. No... I dont use a firewall at the moment. And the windows firewall is deactivated.

So I did the following test: I started DG in windowed mode and I opened my network connection to see how many packets have been sent. As I thought before - after entering a user/password and pressing "login" NO(!!!) packets were sent over my network connection. So it might be a software problem on client side. pacov - do u have any idea who made this patch?
